So My husband while he likes his 510, it only pleases him if the battery is fully charged and the cart is completely full. He's dripped, topped off and so forth but he says he just doesn't get that kick he needs to keep that analog craving from bothering him. He says he can only taste that flavor and feel that kick right as he puts his freshly charged battery on.

I don't want analogs ever back near us again. Don't want to smell it. So I got a few questions:

1. Do you think he needs a higher voltage bat to keep giving him that kick he needs in vapor and flavor?
2. What would you recommend?

Being a newbie and trying to sift through the e-cig reviews pages and everything is confusing me even more. Battery types and so forth all those numbers lol. I want him to maybe get at least a 5v mod that can hold a pretty good amount of juice and at least have a half day charge on it.

I was looking at the XL 510 bats and attys but I know nothing about them and so forth and I really don't want to tackle cartomizers right now. That topic flies over my head so to speak.

Any help would be fantastic. Oh and I looked at a chuck but again, the build confuses me.. Can I use my 510 attys and carts with it? Would it even be wise to do so? LOL

Don't know much on the subject myself but i was having the same sort of trouble when i started vaping a few months ago, so i tried a higher strength ejuice and at first i still felt something was missing but got used to it in no time. As for a higher voltage battery i have heard this does help but i'm far from an expert so have a good look through the posts you may find the answers, in the mean time good luck and keep at it.

Well I can tell you one cheap thing that just made my vaping experience much better, blue foam mod. My eGo was getting a real hard draw on a cart I only reused like 3 times and I was worried about the vapor production. Replaced it with a full length cut of blue foam and the draw is way better, and the improved wicking is making vapor production a lot better. I was doing the same thing, topping off the cart every 3-4 puffs.

It may not be a solution for you, but its a really cheap thing to slightly improve your 510's performance.

Cyia, does your husband care about the size and shape of his PV? If not, I have to tell you that I recently got to try a 5 volt GLV 2 mod with a cartomizer and it was the closest thing to the hit of a cigarette that I've tried. Actually hit heavier than my ultralights used to. These things are really well made too. I've tried quite a few devices in the last 6 1/2 months and I like this one the best so far. Here's a link. Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

You'll need the batteries and charger as well. The 510 is the standard connecter. I believe the 5 volt takes 2, 16340 batteries. If you want to ask Jay (the guy who makes them) any questions about it his phone number is here. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/greatlakesvapor/104519-glv-phone-number.html
He's a great guy. Your hubby will definitely get the hit and vapor he's looking for from this thing.

Yeah. 2 batts and a charger would be $20.00 + shipping from madvapes so if you're ordering everything from Jay and paying one shipping charge it'd be about the same and you'd get it all at the same time. You guys are gonna LOVE these things. They fit really nicely in your hand and are even nicer looking than the website shows them.
What colors are you looking at? I think the one I tried was Black Starlight. It was pretty nice looking.

I was thinking the chrome black looked pretty good or maybe the red. Any up to date reviews on it? Maintenance and so forth? I'm getting pretty stoked about buying one.

My impression from reading on these forums is that its the juice your useing not the pv pg=strong th and satisfaction vg = vapor I would recommend a stronger mg as well I started at 18 mg was like ok I can stay off cigs with this but was getting a head ache a lot which is a symptom of not enough nic so increased to 24 mg head ache gone and dont have that feeling of missing some thing any more.

Here's a link to the video I used to learn how to use the blue/white filter foam properly.

YouTube - cozzcon's Channel

On the mod front, there are a TON of really cool devices out there. You may want to look around and see what grabs your attention the most. I've checked out the Icon, Prodigy, ProVape, The Precious, Buzz, Chuck, GLV2, GGTS, GGSlim (be in stock dammit), plenty of box mods, Silver Bullet, Screwdriver, and Little Sister. I don't doubt for a second the GLV2 is awesome as it is one I'm considering, check them all out and watch some reviews. It never hurts to see all the options.

These things have been on the market for quite a while and have a good track record. Never seen a negative review on them. Here's a link to some You Tube reviews. YouTube - GLV2 Review by CrashtestjeeP

I just ordered the GLV2,5v looks to be the spot to be.3.7 worked for a while and 6v is just to hot.If the hit on the 510 is working for you,you could get hubby a 5v and add a mini to your order for $80 bux for yourself. The mini looks pretty cool and the size looks great.

See I chain vape just like I chained smoke and I'm finding over the days my little 510 isn't keeping up so well XD I was taken a glace at the screw driver as well but i really want something that will keep up with my chain vaping and not die flat on me or loose momentum.
