OK, so I didn't have all the details until a few days ago... I really thought he stopped vaping because he didn't want to quit the stinky sticks! He put it down for about 2 weeks and picked it up again a few days ago, put a fresh carto in a tank took a hit, looked at me and said "I don't like vaping"

I took his Buzz took a hit and it was REALLY tight. So tight I barely got any vapor at all. I thought the carto was bad, so I grabbed another with the same results. At this point I decided to try his tank on my woody BP and to my surprise it worked perfectly. I told him take his woody BP off of it pedistal and try his tank on that instead of his black BP and it worked fine on his woody as well. So the tank and carto are fine but something is not right with his buzz.

Any ideas?

With 808, I had to remove an extra black spacer/rubber oring, that's apparently there for 901 atty use. That got it to the point that it worked, but draw was ultra tight.

Mike then sent me a flat head slotted screw, to replace the round head phillips in the top cap -- BP has been good ever since :)

An adapter is a good suggestion, too. On my original Infinity I use one all the time, since the 808 fitting on that had trouble with some cartos (lack of standardization). With Fusion cartos I'm using an Ikenvape gold 808/801 adapter, works well.

If it did draw okay at first, but doesn't now, then perhaps a simple mechanical issue, an obstruction that has been introduced, whether a bit of eliquid glop, a bit of lint or leaf,... I'd probably use a thumbtack tip or small paperclip to do a gentle poke through the air slits or holes in the side of the connector, clean it with a QTip soaked in isopropyl alcohol, and slide a tack or exacto tip, gently, around the inside of the connector wall, to dredge up whatever gludge is there. Gentle counts -- not trying to stab washers or orings, put holes in anything. It only takes a little piece of junk to impede the air flow.

(I'm used to having that pop up periodically, clean my 808 connectors pretty regularly.)

Good luck!
