Looks like the Big Bend and the Forgotten Coast is going to get the worst of it. But with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph, this thing is barely a hurricane. So batten down the hatches and....

By the time Hermine hit my area (Jax) it was just the usual tropical storm with a little extra rain thrown in.

Germany is on my bucket list after Ireland !

Germany won't be a vacation, it will be a grind. Fly in, spend two days setting up, five days standing in the booth all day, then meeting with customers late into the evening, one day tearing down, then fly out. I hate doing trade shows. I'm thankful this one (the biggest of its kind in the world) only happens every other year.

Bottom line: I'd rather be in FL.

I really need to get out and explore Florida - I've only been here full time since 2003 !

We used to go everywhere in California...I sure miss that.

I own a business up here and my daughter just started college up here, so I bounce up and down frequently. I'll be back in sunny FL toward the end of the month, after a trip to Germany for a trade show...
