I run IKV HV306's at 5.5 with tremendous results!! As of yesterday was my first experience with an IKV HV901, running it at 5.3 and let me tell you it is awsome!! When I use atty's on my ProVari they must be HV, but thats just my preference.
HV510 atties are rated around 3.2 ohm and HV306 atties are 3.5 ohm which is close to the resistance of standard 901 and 801 atties. HV901 and HV801 atties are usually rated around 4.5 ohm and will run cooler than HV 510 and HV306 when used at the same voltage. Which type of HV atties are you asking about?
I have coming in the mail 2x HV atties from LF - 510 and they say they run at ~4.2 and COV (Joye) atties (510 as well).. they say they run around 4.6
I ordered 2x 510 HV atties from IKV but he sent me the LR... Woops lol. But they do perform well
If you like cooler vapor, I think you will like those atties on your Provari at 6V since you will be vaping at right around 8 watts. I personally prefer to be in a 10+ watt range because I prefer a very warm/hot vapor so I stay at or below 3.5 ohm at 6V. Your ProVari will perform really well regardless of which atty you use, it just comes down to your personal wattage preference.
