So what do you say, Isaac? You up for the task? I double dare you...
lol The Dare started has been a long time making in the process.
It's not really 3.5 we only just have to worry about. The environment is going to play a pretty big role for longevity. We'll nail it soon.
The problem with the development of an HV carto is not the resistance but the size of the fuel line going to the carburator, or in our case the wicking material capable of holding the juice in proper suspension while freely delivering it to the 4 bbl atty. MMV but I have managed to burn through all cartos I have tested at HV, mind you that was BETA testing. IOW it was supposed to happen, because I have seen many reviews on HV
vaping with cartos, and they take longer hits than what I normally do, so in all probability they have burnt theirs as well.
OTOH the Gold 510s are fog machines at 3.7V and IMHO do not require vaping at HV. Perhaps folks are getting confused with what old cartos were delivering compared to what cartos are delivering now. That being said, folks are looking for a carto that will not only deliver plumes of vapour but a carto that will last for eternity. That IMO is simply not going to happen. IMHO you can't have your cake and eat it too.
So what is good life in a carto?
One that can withstand at least 5 refills without going stale, more even better. They were designed to last one session, not forever. In my experience, washing them does not increase longevity. It does increase the life of the carto, but quality decreases exponentially, so I simply do not bother. IMO vape quality is more important to me than longevity.
ETA: If someone can do it Isaac can, but are our wishes impossible to reach?
