I just got an order in for 3 HV atomizers and 3 LR cartomizers that I use on my Silver Bullet (with the appropriate batteries for each atomizer of course).

Since they are a popular brand, I'll go ahead and say that the atomizers and cartomizers are from Ikenvape, perhaps that information will help you all help myself.

The HV atomizers start off wonderful. The first one worked great for about 5 days. Then, without any fanfare or theatrics....it died. It was wierd. I took a normal drag, got normal vapor, put it down then a couple of minutes later I go for another hit and it died. It didn't even fire up for a microsecond that I could tell. The second HV atomizer I used after the first died worked just as well as the first one for the first few days. Now, all of a sudden, when I put in some fresh batteries the atomizer will cut off after 1 or 1.5 seconds and sometimes shorter. The same cutoff is happening to the LR cartomizers with 3.7 batteries in them now.

What am I doing wrong? How can I correct this? All the reviews I read from people say Ikenvape has good stuff so I'm going to point the finger at myself for now.

Bold text is the part that got me all confused. I believe you need to have a serious look at the device, something is not kosher there. I arrived at my conclusion because the SB is acting weird with the other battery, and that is an indication of a problem elsewhere.

IKV is good stuff but not infallible. I recently popped 2 x 3.5 510s (older stock) because of my own mistakes (I wasn't pulsing the switch between successive hits) a critical mistake at HV.

I seems to me there is a partial short going on and the over current protection on the batts is kicking in.
