Hooray for progress!!

I drive a semi and would love a carto I could use at 6v while I drive instead of a LR carto at 3.7v(which isn't bad but just isn't the same).

I'll be ordering a few HV 306's from you in a few days. All the reviews on your HV 306 has me really looking forward to try dripping when I'm not behind the wheel.

Cheers Ikenvape people!!

I love you guys already and I haven't even bought anything yet!

And I just had a thought... I know people love dripping on your HV 801's which got me wondering how they perform at 6v using a cartridge? Would 6v use up the juice in a cart too fast? I could always pick up a few of these too and keep some topped off carts handy while I'm driving. I'm just trying to find a way to enjoy 6v while hauling 78k pounds down the road and not have to drive with my knee and drip. = )

So what do you say, Isaac? You up for the task? I double dare you... :)

lol The Dare started has been a long time making in the process. :D
It's not really 3.5 we only just have to worry about. The environment is going to play a pretty big role for longevity. We'll nail it soon.

The problem with the development of an HV carto is not the resistance but the size of the fuel line going to the carburator, or in our case the wicking material capable of holding the juice in proper suspension while freely delivering it to the 4 bbl atty. MMV but I have managed to burn through all cartos I have tested at HV, mind you that was BETA testing. IOW it was supposed to happen, because I have seen many reviews on HV vaping with cartos, and they take longer hits than what I normally do, so in all probability they have burnt theirs as well.

OTOH the Gold 510s are fog machines at 3.7V and IMHO do not require vaping at HV. Perhaps folks are getting confused with what old cartos were delivering compared to what cartos are delivering now. That being said, folks are looking for a carto that will not only deliver plumes of vapour but a carto that will last for eternity. That IMO is simply not going to happen. IMHO you can't have your cake and eat it too.

So what is good life in a carto?

One that can withstand at least 5 refills without going stale, more even better. They were designed to last one session, not forever. In my experience, washing them does not increase longevity. It does increase the life of the carto, but quality decreases exponentially, so I simply do not bother. IMO vape quality is more important to me than longevity.

ETA: If someone can do it Isaac can, but are our wishes impossible to reach?

Just in case I happen to be near you on the road and you need to drip :

YouTube - Smokie Demonstrates 1/2 oz Needle tip bottle from Racers-edge.com

can be purchased here :

1/2 OZ BOTTLE W/NEEDLE TIP

I've been using this method (I use a drip tip) for months now. It's safe and efficient and no look.

Cheers

Nice tip Progg i'll definitely pick one of those up. They have them at my local hobby shop too.

I agree with you on the vape quality being the number one priority Switched. I'm not looking for a carto to last forever and I wouldn't bother trying to clean them either. They are priced low enough to make the effort not worth it imo. Just half an ohm or so is all I need and I'll be a happy man. = )

I guess I could try an AW high drain 18650 for all these 3 ohm cartos I have. Anyone have any experience with this battery and 3 ohm cartos? Would it be worth a try?

3 ohm is such an odd critter. It's a bit too high for 3.7v and a bit too low for 6v and unfortunately I have a bunch of them.(Boge 510 and Kr808d cartomizers)

Ugh, I can't wait to get a few HV 306 from Isaac.

The "gold" 510s are rated at 3.5Ohms

I still have faith in the hv carto. I love having my cake and eating it too. I feel like vaping itself is like having your cake and eating it too, in the sense that you get throat hit, oral fixation, and flavor without the thousands of chemicals and carcinogens. That being said, I am not looking for a carto that is gonna last for a month at hv, I just want them to be better than the ones currently offered. Like you said switcher, if anyone can do it Isaac is the man.

Yes he is.

I have a honest question. Why are people so obsessed with vaping cartos at HV? Please help me out here folks as I am very very curious. What am I not getting? Because although I have the capability to vape at any given voltage over a myriad of attys and cartos all with varying resistance, a carto over 7 watts seems just to hot for me. Not only in vape but the heat masks the flavour accordingly in exchange for a reckless TH with negligible increases in VP.

I know different strokes for different folks but I sure would like someone to make me understand. :)
