Hybrid adapters do give a slight performance improve with less voltage drop. But hybrid adapters are not made for every mod because it unknown if there is a enough room in the tube to accommodate them. A mod with a slightly taller top cap protrudes into the tube less then say a Nemesis that has a short top cap then say the Atomo. This means that as you drop the atty's 510 connector into the tube using a hybrid adapter, the center pin will be lower in the tube that the center pin of the top cap. You will now have zero adjust-ability and it won't screw together correctly or it will have a greater chance to auto fire.

So it's all based on the original design and how far down the original center pin was on the top cap. It could be too high, which mean you may get battery rattle, or too low and it may not screw together or auto-fire. Hopefully this makes sense.

The nemesis fits into the Goldilocks zone where it can use a stock top cap and a hybrid, not many mods do. And trying to make a mod utilize one is more involved then just getting a piece of brace machined and threaded, trust me... I looked into it myself.

The hybrid adapter is suppose to be for the vanilla mod with adjustable contacts.

Should work, give it a try. That type of hybrid adapter you won't see much of a performance improvement. It still relies on a center positive pin.
That's what I was thinking, that's the reason I asked. I was hoping to improve voltage drop but if it won't make much of a difference I'd rather not spend $29 + tax and shipping.
