I have a copper nemesis clone, works fine on all my devices except for my new dripper, brought a hybrid adapter for it from vapourhut and I just can't quite get it together? I set up the hybrid adapter as it should, replace the top cap with the dripper and hybrid connection, use the same tubes and same Sony VTC5 batteries yet my switch is just constantly sticking out of the bottom. Even tried pulling the pin out and screwing the switch down as far as it would go, still not meeting the lip of the bottom tube (locking ring side). Anyone have any ideas?

Note the piece of wood in place of the pin 
that's the hybrid adapter assembled, the switch as far down as it will allow and the mod fully assembled. Using the exact same tubes and battery before I got my hybrid adapter.
