Hybrid top and Velocity clone

I recently picked up a noisy cricket and a velocity clone by tobecco. The 510 is protruding I just dont know if its enough for the hybrid top cap. I might just be over analyzing the situation. I'm just curious if anyone has the same mod/rda and has any info. Thank you for your time.

Safety is something you should have considered before buying a Noisy Cricket. IMHO there is no topper that is safe on any faux hybrid mod of any description. All that said, I chance to have a Velocity clone by Tobeco. It has the BF pin installed for use on my Reo. According to my caliper, the positive contact protrudes from the negative by .19mm. You make your own call, but my face likes a thicker insurance policy than that.

I have both a clone and an authentic. The authentic might be. The clone is definitely not - it is almost flush. I personally don't think hybrid top caps are safe for anyone, but that is only my humble opinion.

Does anyone know if the low pro rda has a protruding 510? A friend of mine doesn't like his and is sending me one.

...Velocity from the very latest production run (as of this post) from Avid Vaper on the left. Fully seated copper positive is M2-0.4 4mm. Velocity from a previous production run on the right. Fully seated copper positive (filed down from an M2-0.4 6mm copper screw provided by Avid Vaper) is M2-0.4 5mm.
