Rebuilding it, compared to an AGA-T or RSST...
No comparison.
It is a completely different animal. :)
First off, the coil/wick is upside down. Meaning... it hangs from the top of the tube (right under the drip tip) with the wick pulling from the bottom container. Which can be removed, cleaned/refilled without messing with the wick/coil.
You just have to feed the ends of the wicks back into the bottle.

Basically, I would not recommend this one to a novice.
But, IF you don't mind tinkering a bit, it can be a nice little hybrid.

Here's Todds review...

Wisslefits is correct.
In my opinion the Hero is very lacking out of the box but can be modified and setup to work very well.
I am still experimenting, but results so far are so good that I now have 2 I use as my main vapes and I am thinking about getting a 3rd.
I have a pile of cartos, RBA's, eVic, Zmax, and Vamo that are getting lonely.
If anyone has one or is interested in one please check out my thread on these little things.

OK. Please excuse an old e-cig guy popping in and asking about the newbie new-fangled hybrid stuffis.

WHY the heck would you want that? What could possibly be advantageous about locking yourself in to a mod that you can't swap out the coil for another type?

Is this hype? Shill? Normal stuff? Fad?
Seems to me, if you really can't swap out the RBA...you're insane for even getting it. I must be missing something.

Good question, lol. Part fad, part appearance. I would say the majority of people wanting a hybrid, like myself, have many choices on standby for a backup, in case the coil needs rebuilt. I personally am a fan of the look of hybrids, like the iHybrid line. Less separate parts, everything is streamline and matches in diameter, finish, color, ect.

Just think of it as form over function ;)

I think people like it because of it simplicity, rarity and you dont get a 510 contacts being stressed out or getting dug out from constant changing of atty's. Just my oppinion :) my rsst did that to my mech cuz it has a pretty sharp contact or I probably over tighten it alot.

Anyways, if your into dripping atomizers theres a hybrid from okcvapes.com. its called The Novice for 100$. It has good reviews but uses 14000's batteries.

I might get one in the future if I get into dripping.

I definitely agree about the stress on the 510 connection. I'm also waiting for the iHybrid Pure. Ive got a handful of sigelei mech mods and but dont want to jump through hoops trying to match a rbas size to it, change the finish to match and spend $25 on that SG-1 adapter, only to still have a 1mm wide variance between the rba and mod.

I want a real deal hybrid and join the hellaflush club

novice has built in fatty, the tiny chamber and slot air hole make it one of the best rda's ive used.

its not your typical 'hybrid' per se, considering most of the hybrids out there use 18000 series batteries.

but it is right at the price point the threadstarter was looking for.

(that video in the last page i posted was a novice)
