I have been thinking for a while about converting my rba-mech setup into a hybrid, and with the conversion kit now available it is hard not to entertain the idea once again.
I am still, however, uncertain if it is worth it. What i understand is that the only advantage a hybrid has over a rba-mech is the absence of the apparently flawed 510 connection, therefore alleviating voltage drop and similar problems. Is there any more advantage to a hybrid that would justify the $25 for the kit? I know $25 is not too much, but i am opposed to spending a single dime of uninformed money.
Looking forward to your thoughts
