Hydrolock...?

Didn't know where to post this. The other day my friend told me to watchout that I don't get hydrolock. Basically hydrolock causes the smoker to have pneumonia like symptoms and it's fatal
My question is could one get thisthroughvaping? Started mixing my own eliquid n use only pg and vg to dilute my nicotine base. And what he said got me thinking is it possible or is it something that shouldn't be worried about?
And no I don't mix anything in my liquids that are ilegal in any way. Just wanted to know your thoughts

personally i dont think its possible! I could be wrong but thats the reason we use Usp products. i dont know what they use in the process of extracting nicotine.?!?
