I do appreciate the honesty in the video. It does look quite promising and i've been eying it up but from what I hear version 2 makes it a lot easier to use.

I actually just read about all the changes they are making. I'm going to pick one up.

Word is it will have spring loaded springs!

Hey Paison (Nomad) you mirror me when i was young < blood boils easily - lol > .
Anyways yes i have these and there the best thing since slice bread with no mods to them i just make my own coils useing stranded silica wick now i use 5 pieces and use my spit on the ends to bring to a nice point .

As a note when the stock wick gets gunked up just unwind the coil and you can easily clean that piece of kanthal with brillo to make it shiny new and wrap on a new wick.

Yes the new ones with bigger wick holes and spring loaded connectors will be a little easier also and im very happy with these so happy i bought 200ft of 32gauge kanthal to last me super long time.

PS Nomad watch that Krisper dude he keeps calling me old man and i dont think he's right in his noggin. ; )

I got one of these things, I had the same experience as a lot of people. I tore out the wick and coil it came with and have not had good luck making a new coil, mostly because of the wick I ended up with. I got the cotton wick, I cannot get the stuff down through the ultra tiny itsy bitsy friggin holes. I've decided to go ahead and bore out the wick holes some and see if that helps, and in the meantime I am ordering some stainless steel mesh, eh maybe that'll work better. I'm not crushed that it's not a great device right out of the box, I knew that going in, so for me it's just a new fun toy to play with lol
