Okay, just got my first e-cig about 45 minutes ago.... Long story short, I filled an empty core with Bickford's because I wanted to practice puffing on the e-cig without OD'ing on nicotine. The filler in the cart keeps coming out of its core and moving up to the atomizer! When its not doing that, little fibers keep coming out of its little home and puffing out of the core, despite the core being very saturated (almost a bit too much fluid at one point).

Most of the time I'm puffing on it, it tastes slightly burnt. I'm not sure if that's the factory prime or from the fibers burning. Every once in a while, I'll get a nice flavor of the Bickford's, but for the most part it just tastes a little burnt and not too pleasant. Is it normal for cart filling to keep coming out of its natural home?

Update: I just dripped directly on the atomizer with no cart and it tastes loads better. I guess carts hate me too :p

I've never had much joy with cartridges either, they just don't taste good or they don't wick the juice to the atomiser well. I usually just drip now and it's less hassle. Bickfords might be thinner than regular eliquid and that can affect how well a cartridge wicks.

Apparently 901 cartridge fillers are prone to coming out and sticking to the atomiser but I haven't heard of it happening with any other devices.

Kate, I think you were right about the Bickfords. I filled another cart with the Kick juice that came with my order and it was fine. I guess if I want to use Bickfords I need to thicken it up with some VG first (the vapor wasn't all that great anyway). In just the few days I've had my 901, I think I'm finally getting the hang of vaping :)
