So far I am finding all the flavours really underwhelming. They are the 70/30 mixes from Canvape.

Spearmint - I didnt love at first but this was the first flavour I put in and I wasnt used to vaping yet, will retry later.
Coconut cream pie- VERY disappointing. I LOVE coconut cream pie, and not only is the flavour weak, but barely taste like coconut.
Cherry coke - pleasant flavour but very weak flavour
Bubble gum - again very week flavour, not unpleasant but barely there.
RY4 - weak flavour, but a little less weak than the others, I also think I find the flavour of this one the most enjoyable so far.

Here is one question. They say that PG is the flavour carrier, but also PG causes the throat hit.. so if I want less throat hit, with more flavour... what can I do? Is it normal for juices to have such a weak/subtle flavour? Are there any juices out there that are really strong in flavour, so that you get a really strong taste in the mouth? I would even suffer through a strong throat hit if the flavour was at least strong and amazing.

I mean I am a noob so this may be normal and I was just having too high expectations. I mean is it possible to have nice flavours, almost as strong as if you were sucking on a flavoured candy or something?

I had that same problem before I found vendors who added flavor shots. Nothing was strong enough in flavor to me until then. I also vaped menthol or strong mint flavors when my taste buds went through a tasteless phase.

I dont mind spending money for quality. Once you found stronger flavours, how strong were they? Can you compare them to a food or something just to give me a general idea?

Mount baker vapors has good juice at a great price and you can add up to 5 flavor shots, also you could buy some sweetener or just the flavoring itself and add it to the juice or just mix your own. I just bought some flavoring and nicotine base to mix my own with some pretty good success with my first 2 attempts.

I ordered double shots on a bakery style juice and it was good, but not great. I asked them to add one more flavor shot and it was perfect for me.

The difference is akin to taking your first sip of an on-the-rocks drink and sipping the last, watered down sip. Oh. You said food. But you get my point:)

some vendors make stronger juices... extra flavor shots worry me to be honest... I always feel that I am upsetting the balance etc... that it will affect performance... seems to me that overflavored juices don't perform as well or kill atties and cartos...

here's a couple vendors that I like... that never seem to lack in flavor and perform very well... vaporcast, zombie ejuice.

ECBlend also allows you to add extra flavor.

Thing is that if you're just quitting cigarettes, is that even if you realize that you can't replicate the sensation of smoking with e-liquid, you still want a sensation as strong. Also, tastebuds tend to dud out and flip out randomly for the first month or so while they're recovering and regenerating from smoking.

If you really need to "feel" it you might want to try a strong menthol juice until your taste buds calm down and you start to psychologically differentiate the habit of vaping from the habit of smoking.
