I am getting my Hana V3 in the mail tomorrow, how will it stack up to my V1?

I love my Provari V1. I got it a couple years ago when the V2s came out and could not be happier with its performance. It has survived several terrible drops, washing machines, plane rides, and general mistreatment.

I felt it was time to upgrade. Part of this was I need a second unit should this thing ever need repair, but more importantly, I have been experimenting with RBAs, something the V1 does not have a tolerance for (for safety reasons as well as technical limitations) at low enough resistances.

I decided on the Hana V3 because of a personal recommendation from someone who knows far more than me. I may certainly still get the P3 when it is finished and the reviews are out, but I felt it necessary to branch out to try something new.

Has anyone here experimented with these? Will it live up to my satisfaction with the V1, which is still going strong? I am a ProVari fan, not a fanboy, but I appreciate the fact that it has never let me down and has always been consistent. Both will be used in parallel, the V1 will not be retired, but I wanted to know how it will stack up.

I've never had any issue with my Hana Mini V3. I sold my full-size to pay for a Vapor Flask, but the full size was flawless as well. I never had a need to go up past 13 watts or below 8 watts. Every RBA and rda I used fired just fine from Quasars and Spheroids down to Russians and Protanks. I've run from 0.9 to 2.8 ohm builds without issue.

I have a Provari Mini v2.5 I keep in my Jeep glove box for emergencies. I work great too, but i just like the Hanas better.

I have four Provaris with Russian 91% RBAs, and they're great for work and travel. When I get home at night, I put a fresh battery in the Provari, put it back in it's case, and break out a Hana V3. I have a pair of Hanas with Tobh V2 attys with a Trinity Pyrex top cap. Best vape I've personally found.

I only run a little over 7W into a Russian with my Provari. On the Hana, I run the Tobh at 20W - so I'm using about 3 times the power. I'm also getting a big, warm, effortless vape that the Provari is pretty much incapable of making. At the same time, the Provari/Russian doesn't slobber juice all over if you lay it down. Big advantage there as well.

The Hana takes the VTC5 battery, which offers about a 25% capacity increase over a 2000mA AW. Due to increased output, I do vape less with the Hana, so I still get decent battery life. The Hana's USB recharging port is a nice feature.

Since the Hana is aluminum, it's not going to be as tough as a stainless Provari. Still very well made, just a different material. I suppose I could throw a Russian on the Hana and carry it around, and would also be able to recharge it in the car.

I think you'll be impressed with the Hana. It's different, but they're both simple, well made, quality devices. It would take something pretty special to knock either of these out of my vaping rotation.

I got my Hana, and in the end I like both for different reasons, but I wish there was a ProVape ProBox. That would be the best of both worlds!

Ya, Provape should just come out with a box and blow everyone out of the water.

Run it on like six 18650's, pound out 400 watts.

Just set the high water mark full balls out.
