DONT DO IT - ANALOGS TASTE LIKE CRAP. SMELL LIKE CRAP TOO.
MAYBE YOU NEED STRONGER juice OR A BETTER ECIG.
I HAVE 4 DSE901 s AND I AM vaping ALL DAY EVERYWHERE.
MY WHEEZING AND COUGHING HAVE GONE AWAY.
THINK ABOUT THE $$ YOU ARE SAVING AND THE GOOD YOU ARE DOING
FOR YOURSELF. THESE THINGS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!

I AM ANALOG FREE SINCE JANUARY 5TH!!

Well, at least try to vape some too. Like I should give advice, I have only been vaping for eight days. I have however gone from three packs of analog a day to one. I still look forward to a real cigarette, but it is getting easier to deny myself. I don't want to quit, I actually enjoy it, but if I can continue to reduce my intake of analogs I'll be happy. Good luck, hanging in there!

If you can't resist, go get a tar filter. They work, honestly. They make disposable ones (a single filter lasts about a pack) and a permanent model which just needs cleaning after about 7-10 cigs. When you see the sticky brown goo that gets trapped in the filter, you wont want to smoke without one. I just picture my lungs dripping with goo...omg!!

Vaping has definitely helped me cut way down, but sometimes, if my e-cigs need servicing of some sort and I don't feel like messing around, I smoke an analog...with a filter ;-).

I don't understand how people deal with these filters. You have to inhale so hard to get any smoke at all. You'll try it for a couple of smokes and then you'll throw it out and it will have been a waste of money. Another member just tried one and agreed with me.

Cellmeister: Don't beat yourself up over smoking one analog. Just try to make sure that vaping is your primary method of intake. A lot of people have to keep smoking a couple of cigarettes a day along with their e-cig for the first few weeks or even months. The important thing is that you're smoking less analog cigarettes then you used to.

100% agreed. I used both for 5 months before finally giving up analogs. Take your time, take it easy... it's not a race or any other kind of competition. Keep at it as you can and your body will let you know which one it really prefers :)

...and when it prefers it :) :)

In a house.
Well at least tell us why.
There was a point a few weeks ago ago when i was having nothing but trouble with all my gear and i got ...... off because it was a hassle just trying to vape and i briefly thought about analogues. I'm glad i did'nt go buy some but if it is your gear then i know how you feel.
Hell of an Addiction.

I am a newb at this so take that for what its worth. I started with the ecigarettes 11 days ago and have not had more than 5 smokes a day since then. I was smokin a couple packs a day previously. I still have to have a smoke after meals and 1 or 2 during the day. I am happy with my progress and will wait and see and hope eventually I will be completely off smokes. But I have no timetable.

My advice is find one e-cig you enjoy, and buy the hell out of it.

Experimentation with this hobby is far too expensive for a lot of us. I only have an EVO and a penstyle, and I will keep the EVO for dripping at home, and the pen for away-from-home vaping. I think I lucked out in a lot of ways, I own two fantastic units that I have little doubt will keep me in the vapor for quite a while.

Beware the bandwagon, is what I'm saying.

hmm

I never had this issue...The day I got my evo I was off the analogs for good.

Haven't looked back.

I'm with you on that Terraphon! I did try an analog 5 days after I started vaping and it was really disgusting. Haven't tried one since.

:evil:8-o Don't give up on yourself! If you have to have an analog, then do it. Get it over with. Then try vaping some more! You can do it! We know you can!

DCrist721, I've tried them in the past and gave up for that very reason- difficulty getting any smoke out, and a general pain in the ..... The ones I have now are different. The permanent one gives me enough smoke, although I have to clean it after about 7 cigs (no problem, just unscrew and clean out with alcohol). The disposable ones, which last a pack of cigs per filter, gives me as much smoke as hitting on a regular cig does (more than the permanent model). Believe me, or I really wouldn't bother. They are both made by Tar Gard.
