I saw this thread about vaping and analogs, and why some people can't quit. Luckily, I'm too stubborn to give in, although I'll have the occasional drag (but never a full one) off an analog. Besides the 500+ other chemicals in analogs (and nicotine "addiciton" [ there was an article posted about this in the thread ], there are numerous things I miss, and probably other vapers:

+Lighting up. Someone else in the thread mentioned this. I miss it so much. I'll even ask some smoking friends if I can light their analogs up for them, but I won't smoke it.

+Ashing/Stubbing out. I miss ashing my analog, however gross it seems. Same with snubbing out an analog.

+The trail of analog smoke from being lit. As stupid as that is, I miss it.

There are other reasons, but this is all I could come up with. Anyone else with these little cravings that PVs can't solve?

This is how I think.
Lighting cig up = Dripping on atty
Killing Cig = BLowing out atty when they flood
Smoke trail = More Clouds satisfy me more.
I crave for djarum black cigarettes...But they will forever be unavailable to me unless I fly out of the country.

True, but I dislike dripping. I get virtually no TH and heavily dull flavor no matter what I do. Not sure why, to be honest. That and I'm a cart user. I'm basically a freak in the forum here  I crave 27s from marlboro so bad.

Try being a pipe smoker who gave that up. From rubbing out the flaked tobacco, filling the bowl, charing light, tamp, full light, tamp, smoking for 5 minutes, tamp. Fiddle with the tamper relight, run pipe cleaner through the stem, then tamping and or relighting every so often for the next 2 hours, plus some of the best flavor from 5 year old Virginia/Perique tobacco with no additives. I miss a lot of that, but if I pick up a pipe, the chances are good that I will pick up a cigarette, and if I smoke one, I will be hooked again, so the pv is my way of staying off cigarettes.
And for those who have designed pv pipes, I am sorry, but you just don't have it quite right. There is no pv that could substitute for a hand carved piece of briar filled with good tobacco.
