One week ago, I bought the Gamucci Micro Starter Kit from ECigarettesChoice.com. Initially, I was pleased with the product. I have been cigarette free since it arrived.

A few days ago, one of the batteries stopped working. I'm assuming that's what happened, at least. When I screwed it into the cartridge and atomizer and attempted to "smoke" it, is simply didn't respond. After frantically puffing about 5 times, the LED light finally lit up and I got some smoke. This is the only way it would work. The other one was working fine, so I just made sure to always have it charged and used only that one.

Today, right as I was going in for a puff, I noticed my second battery wasn't working. It simply stopped responding. Normally when I plug the batteries in to the charger, the LED light flashes three times and the charger light goes red. Now, the LED light was flashing on both but the charger light remained green.

After lurking around on the forums, I decided to clean the batteries in a vinegar/water mixture and the atomizer in isopropyl alcohol. I figured this might be necessary as I use the e-cig pretty regularly. At 22, I have already smoked for 8 years and am coming off of a 20-30 cigarette a day habit. It's necessary.

After letting one of the batteries dry, I plugged it into the charger. For a while, it did the same thing. After a few minutes, the charger light turned red. Later, however, it would alternate between red and green. After it was red for a bit, I took it out and tried it out. Unfortunately, it didn't really work. The LED light lit up, but I didn't get much smoke and the atomizer stayed "lit up" for almost ten seconds. Obviously, none of this was right.

If anyone has amy suggestions, PLEASE let me know ASAP. I am ready to put a drop of nicotine into a piece of gum!

(I'm aware that I will likely have to buy new parts. So...f someone could point me in the direction of cheap ones, that would be great. I'm not sure what my Gamucci Micro is modeled after...):(

I was happy with the e-cig until I started having problems today. Yes, that's a good sign it's not a high-quality product, but nevertheless...

Gamucci has a one-year "no questions asked" warranty policy. I would have called already, but the e-cigarette didn't stop working until after business hours.

I know it's not the greatest e-cig, but it was in my price-range and I honestly came across only good reviews.

I am about to start a new job and will order a different brand as soon as I can. Does anyone have any suggestions for in the meantime? I need my nicotine!

This doesn't really sound like your problem, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

At first I thought my 510 battery charger was gimpy.
It kept going from red to green to red and whatever and whatever.
I really had trouble getting it to stay red and had to jiggle and wiggle it until it stayed red.

Then I figured out that if I screw it in tight I get these problems.
And if I just screw it in until the red light goes on, I don't have these problems.

All of my charging problems were solved by not screwing the battery in so tight.
I have not had any such issues since I figured this out.

here if you want to order from china Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop
order two 510 kits, a few extra attys and a few oz's of juice.
But you will have to wait for it to get to your doorstep, so pick a dealer in the US with a kit in stock and buy another one to hold you over. The vapin' life cost's money, it cost's quite a bit at first as you try out differn't things, find what suits ya, and stock up. Good luck, i know how much it sucks' to have your equipment fail.

Sorry... can you describe your current problem one more time? You screw the battery into the atomizer and attach the cartridge, draw on the cart, the LED comes on, but no vapor. Does the atomizer get hot? Is the cartridge filling touching the atomizer "bridge" (the metal mesh that arches out from the atomizer)? Does the LED light up and turn off when you draw, or does it take some time to light, or some time to turn off? Are you using a fresh cart or have you been using the same one for some time?

I'm new to this but-are we supposed to clean the batteries like this person did? I never saw anything about cleaning the batteries (except maybe sometimes wiping the threads)

I think that is what they meant.
Dont immerse your battery in anything if you can help it.

You can sometimes get liquid in the hole at the top of the battery.
Try blowing it from the LED end in to a tissue, you need to blow really hard.

Some people stick the end of a pipe cleaner in the hole *dont twist it round* just straight in and out, cut of the dirty bit and repeat till it comes out clean.
There is a possibility doing this you may damage somethin so go careful.
