I have been vaping for approximately over 2 years now and I have been having very bad luck with finding a good cartomizer, atomizer, clearomizer or even a tank setup. I recently just tried a couple of new things. I have been using the Vivi nova with the 1.8ohm heads and love them. I use vaporite 2x Butterscotch and it vapes very lovely. But I recently changed my juice to Swagger from a shop here in Las Vegas The Pink Spot. I love the taste of this juice but it doesn't last long in the vivi nova. Maybe one tank full and then the juice doesn't taste good and doesn't vape as well so I bought a CE4 aka the stardust and it worked like a charm until it started bubbling on my 4th fill and it doesn't vape like I want it to. So I then bought the CE2 for the DCT and that was awesome until the third day using it. But one of them still works great on a clear liquid Is it the juice that's causing this problem? Is it my luck on the coils I am buying? I really enjoy tank systems and want them to work for at least a week. I am getting so frustrated so I went old school and got myself an atty and started dripping. Guess what the thing lasted me 3 days and it burnt out. I remember them lasting weeks. So any suggestions or comments would be great. I just want to enjoy vaping my juice and not have to pay an arm and a leg just to vape. This was the main reasons I started to vape because it was so cheap. Please Help. By the way I use an ego twist or a 18650 bolt or my VV passthrough.

This is not uncommon. IF you weren't having these same problem earlier (with the 2X Butterscotch), then I'm guessing it's something in the Swagger that tends to cling to the coil and either changes the ohms or prevents full atomization - different ohms readings will affect wattage and wattage affects taste - too much tends to wash out some flavors and too little tends to suppress stronger flavors.

You could drop the coils part in some 151 proof vodka for about a 1/2 hour to an hour - any longer tends to mess with the wicking materials. But doing that after 3 or 4 fillups would be a hassle for me. I go a month, sometimes longer before having to clean anything I'm using - including eGo-c tanks, vision startdusts, CE4's.... For me, the best set up for flavor and vapor has been the CC Cartos and better, the new Tabac BCC's at heaven gifts or Good Prophets. I'm vaping close to all VG (DIY) as one can get with the blend and nic base, with flavors that I've been using for over two years - mainly decadent vapours flavorings. I haven't tried Swagger....
