I love my EVOD for the hit and portability. If you can find that link that would be awesome Kevin.

Yeah man.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-micro-coil-build-aro-evod-protank-heads.html

When I was just looking for it, I saw some other builds like a diamond. I might have to rebuild another to see if I can do it better.

Just be sure if you do it, don't dry burn the coil. The coil has a rubber gasket that can burn and then you can taste it when you vape.

I loaded CLS in at first and once that ran down mixed crème brulee and CLS. The blend is awesome. I am going to attempt to rebuild one of my spent heads in just a few, seeme easy enough.

How would you compare and contrast the following

CLS

CB

Naki's Blend

I gotta warn ya Kent I will shoot ya straight on my experience. CLS was just OK out of the box real good vanilla flavor with some custardy spices mixed in. But with the CLS it will occasionally burn and give a plastic sort of taste. This is using the exact same voltage and wattage, not real sure why. The crème brulee I have not had on its own due to my lack of empty equipment. Naki's blend is my personal preference, the vanilla and custard mix extremely well without being ridiculously sweet. I know you are suppose to be able to vape high wattage I pass 8 and it burns. This could be the EVOD and stock coil but I'm not too sure.

Dude - that bites. I appreciate you shooting straight - I'm not a "pass the buck guy" either... I hate the whole "liquid guys point at the hardware, and the hardware guys point at the liquid" game. My job is to make liquid that works in as wide of range of devices as possible, and their job is make hardware that works well with industry standard liquid. The crew has generally gotten good results from the EVOD, although there have been some intermittant issues with stock heads. You can actually check the integrity of the head and make sure the coils are spaced proper... have you looked under the hood?

I appreciate the advice Kent. I am not gonna be that guy that blames you the juice is good don't get me wrong. I did wanna try high wattage but IDK what the limitations are on the stock coils. I will be a repeat customer for sure. Oh and I forgot to add that IMO you should start selling Naki's Blend, but that's just me. The CLS is getting more flavorful with steeping.

It might also be the stock heads not wicking good enough with the different liquids. I notice the Evod coils are really finicky about different liquids, but in general, they are pretty bad a wicking everything. Even two different liquids at the same ratio, I get different results.

I use 1.8 coils at 3.3v. That's about 6 watts, which is extremely low, but I take such slow drags that I can get any liquid to burn, a lot of times on the first hit. I ride that edge though, getting as close as I can to burning it. I understand that this is very unorthodox, even the 2.2 coils I will vape at 3.3v or sometimes 3.7.

Maybe try rebuilding, or what I did first was just rewick it with some cotton. Even though some NT juices are working for you at a certain wattage, and another burns, I think the fact that most people are getting good results from higher watts means the problem must be in the coil somewhere.

I've been using a Reo and I've got a Taifun GT (authentic) and I run those about 8-9 watts which is more than enough for my high nic juice, which I use because I don't have much opportunity to chain vape.

Dieselrick...just my 2 cents. I use Sugar & Cream yarn from the fabric store, #4, on my Kanger rebuilds...makes it easy. I had way too much difficulty with cotton when I was trying to use the cotton balls I use in my RDA's and RBA's, just couldn't get any kind of consistency. With that, I consistently get a good vape from it, with only minor flooding issues when I fill my tank too much...just vape a couple times and it goes away. Sometimes I use 2mm Ekowool, too...tends to last a bit longer than the cotton wicks. (And one last note...I've found the Kangers aren't usually good at high volts/watts with practically anything.)

Also, I prefer CB over CLS myself. I didn't get the same burntish kind of thing in the CLS, it was more just a preference thing I think. But then again, I also usually do NT in drippers, minus the Betelgeuse which has found a permanent home in my mobile mini-pro tanks. (Plus, I find myself these days having to *limit* the number of 50ml bottles I'm getting from Clark...in the interests of eating and having a roof over my head.)

I received my first order from Nicoticket earlier today. Very pleased with the quick service. Had a great vapemail today receiving juices from 3 different vendors. First in the tank was the Nicoticket 'Queen of Hearts'. Oh, my! Amazing! For now it's my favorite, and I still have 3 more of their juices to try. First juice I've tried that is an absolute re-order.

Agreeing with the OP -- I am impressed!

Revco I have seen a lot of the people on Youtube use that type of yarn. With that kind does it fit right inside of the coil or is there manipulation involved? The cotton does seem like a good idea for the Kanger coils in any form. I appreciate the advice about the high wattage though. Now on another note what does Betelgeuse taste like. Is it worth a buy and is steeping required with it?

Hey mykereid - welcome to our humble corner of the interwebz! Glad the Q of <3's hit for you - grab it up fast, these short runs have a tendency to evaporate quickly!

No steep required, it's good fresh... but... it does improve over time (unlike some fruit liquids) just by virtue of the fact that it's a complex blend of over 7 flavorings and they need time to 'meld'. I'm not sure what to tell you what it tastes like - I'm told there is an Aussie candy that's very similar, but I've never tasted anything like BG!

Kent, thanks, and done!

Awesome! As a sidebar - make sure you username is populated in the system (so I can make the connection) - I have a tendency to spoil the people who chill here on ECF and spread the NT love!

Also - thank you for becoming a supporting member of ECF - good call!!

Vape strong~

Dieselrick, I have had nothing but problems with my evods. I am one of the few folks in the world that had leaking, gurgling and juice in my mouth no matter what I tried. I have found that the Pro Tank 2 and the Aero Tank by Kanger are both very nice vapes.

My favorite is the Aero Tank. Just got some heads from Fast Tech and they were actually a reasonable price. Nice capacity, air flow control and great flavor. I also got a Kayfun 3.1 in that shipment but I haven't tried to build it yet. I drive truck and I need a reliable delivery system because I will change heads, refill my tank and change batteries while I drive if I am having a problem. I am a baaad girl. This is why I am so fond of the Aero Tank. Lasts for several hours without a refill and I vape pretty heavily.

I have an Aspire Nautilus coming in soon and I am hoping it will be another good alternative. I have heard so many stellar things about the taste and reliability.

I have always gotten huge clouds of vapor from Clark's liquids. Do not understand why since I use a lot of the same pg/vg ratios from other vendors and never get the same results as the Nicoticket liquids. It is just awesome sauce. Nice to see you are enjoying the Naki's blend. Right now I have Be Mine (the NT Valentines flavor) in my Aero Tank, 2.0 ohm stock head, 8.5 watts on my MVP2. Good stuff.
