I am quite desperate for a quick fix for this. I recently bought a kayfun Lite Ehpro clone and it has been extremely unreliable. Let me start off by saying that I am running a single 26 gauge micro coil with cotton wicking. I first filled this half way normally through the small dripping hole that is covered by a screw and then realized that it had leaked quite a bit. It was leaking from top part that your drip tip sits on. It leaks when is on it's side through that small seam. It also occasionally leaks out of the airhole. I have replaced the o-ring in the top part with no luck please help.

It sounds to me like the top of your chimney is not sealing past the top o ring did you check to make sure everything is screwed on snug? can you verify that the top of the chimney is going up far enough to reach the top o ring?

I would fill it with water and verify with it upside down exactly where it is leaking from it might help you figure it out.

I would suggest taking apart the entire tank, then rebuilding carefully. It sounds like the chimney isn't seating with the "top cap" of the tank, or you did not fill the gaps to the left and right of the coil with wick VERY important. When you're putting everything back together, start from the bottom then build up. Tighten the coil housing on first, then make sure to fill the gaps with the extra wick you left when building. THOSE GAPS MUST MUST MUST be filled with wick, if not it will leak into the mouthpeice and out of the airhole. Then after filled, screw the chimney onto that. After, put on bottom ring, then center piece (clear or steel), then screw on top cap. Make sure all pieces are tight and enjoy. Good Luck

I think the chimney may be coming loose. My eh kayfun leaked once. I tried to top fill.

Nah he said it leaked out the top when it's on its side it's definitely leaking out the top where the chimney is supposed to seal to the top o ring.

Thank you so much you saved my life!! I simply filled it with water and realized it was leaking really badly due to the fact that the top cap was not sealing completely so I doubled up my o-rings and it no longer leaks out of the seam. It also fixed the slight leaking out of the airhole and I believe this happened because the o-rings are no keeping the pressure inside the tank. Thanks loads to everyone this is one of my first posts and I love all of the support and help.

Glad I could help I just started 2 months ago and rebuildables about a month ago and I just so happened to have a very problematic Kayfun clone just like you. I messed with it for like 12 hours and it still doesn't work right it's a KFL + Black edition from artemus custommodcreations.com I moved on to my EhPro clones and Russian 91s love em!

If mine was behaving like that I would take the unit apart and check the chimney oring that fits in the top cap, then I would place the chimney into the hole and see if the oring creates a snug fit. If it does, I would start considering other oring seals to be the issue.

and BTW which screw are you undoing to fill the tank?? the one on the bottom of the tank?? because there is a screw on the side of the tank that is for airflow control ( not filling)... and if filled in that hole, it will be a reason for leaks... ( already had a person come into the shop with a "leaking issue" and he showed me how he was filling it.... ) :)

It sounds to me that the vacuum isn't right in the tank try filling it from the top with your fingers over the air holes on the tank then put the top on screw it on just enough to catch the threading and then flip it upside down take your fingers off the holes and finish screwing on the top with your finger covering the drip tip hole VERY IMPORTANT and when it's on tight it should be good to go a little juice might come out of the hole but that it it should stop after a couple vapes. If you've done this already we'll then I'm not sure what it is .

One very important thing that hasn't been mentioned and happens a lot for first timers. Put a little juice on the o rings before assembly. I had my Kayfun leaking out of every seam AND the air holes. Finally realized I needed to wet the o rings and the whole flip it around with your finger on the air hole thing and haven't had a leak since.
