have you tried wiggling the wire while plugged in to see if you can get a connection enough to let it sit and charge? If you know some one that is decent with electronics/wiring they can clip and reattach them in about 10 minutes or less! I replaced mine with a longer wire because the one that came with it is to short, i just wrap it in a circle inside the case and it still shuts, but I have like 6 extra inches of wire now for an easy USB hook up!

I am a GUY from L.A. not girl. lol
If you have to go to some cigs for a couple of days until you get things straightened out, it'll be OK. I know that isn't ideal and not what you wanted to have happen, but try not to worry too much if you smoke to get you over this hump. It's just a little blip on the big scheme of quitting cigarettes. Hang in there!

A better idea might be to seek out a disposable unit. They can be had in cigarette shops for @$10. 7-11 also sells e-cigs for $20. I'd rather go w/ that and have a backup e-cig for such occasions in the future.
