I am tired of mods dying in less than a week. What to buy next?-UPDATE

Ok, so I got an Hcigar VT75 that died within 24 hours of owning it. Then I got a smok X Cube Ultra that died within a week. I am not having any luck with buying a decent mod. I found out from a reliable source that smok has had a lot of returns on the X Cube because of "no atomizer" errors or it goes into shake or vibrate mode and wont stop.

Unfortunately so much I have read hear about any mod that I might consider has problems. I have thought about the Lavabox M Mini, but a lot of people considerate it underpowered. The Sigelei 231 Fuchai does not work well in TC mode, the P4U IPV6 has had some bad reviews.

So can someone recommend a reliable box mod $150 or less that won't die on me in less than a week.

The VT75 has a DNA board in it, the exact same as the Lavabox M. The board has a one year warranty and I've always heard that Evolv is very good about honoring this. The DNA 75 is only under-powered if you vape at high wattage. Both those mods only hold one battery, so you'll most likely have to carry spares. I just bought a Lavabox M a couple of weeks ago and I'm really liking it. If you vape at high wattage, you can always get a DNA 200/250.

I sure did. Now the only thing I have to vape with is an iStick 30 watt. It is not great, but it is better than nothing. It was great when I was a MTL vaper, now that I vape DTL it is not so great for me anymore.

I should be getting my replacement for th X Cube this week. I opted for a refund for the VT75. I am going to use the X Cube as a backup, but I would like a good reliable every day mod.

I am network technician, so I don't do any physical labor. I usually leave my mod in the car when I go to visit a client. I normally don't drop my mods and I certainly did not drop the two that just died. As far as power goes, I would like at least 75 watts max and if I can get a good 4-6 hours on a battery or batteries I would be happy. I prefer not to use a mod that requires 26650 batts.

If you want stupid rugged, this is about as rugged as it gets! Heatvape Invader Mini - $9.99
I ordered two of these from them, it's safe, and they are stupid cheap! But 5-6hrs of runtime from a single 18650. It's heavy, but watch the vids, its stupid rugged!

So, I just ordered a Lavabox DNA75 Mini. I did a lot of reading and watched some youtube reviews on many different devices and I settled on the Lavabox. I like it because of it's size, it has evolv software and it got many good reviews.

I am looking forward to it. I should get it by the end of the week.

The wait begins.

With your record....I would go mechanical.... nothing there to have fail. Seems to me your a little rough on stuff to be dealing with electronics.

my wife has bad luck with mods she killed 3 in a short time. One less then a day , another 3 days and last one she killed in 10 days . Now she is using a Eleaf aster 75 w for a month no problems and also a sigelei j150 for over a month no problems . She loves both of them but now she wants something with more power because she likes building RDAs so she is getting a SMok alien because she tried to steal mine .

You never said what power you want or did I just miss it ? Smok ALien 220w is great, The Limitless LMC 200w top notch . Im in construction so I need something durable for the day . I really like my AO Dagger 80w single 18650 . THing is solid as a rock . Oh target Pro 75 W nice as well . ALl those mods under 100 bucks . with you $150 limit you could buy 2 of them . Or buy a alpintech Tech box and a DNA 75/200 board and slap on together yourself for a bit over 100
