I can't get this I-Atty to wick properly, I get dry hits after dry hits even though I tilt my Mod as suggested horizontally. I tried stainless steel mash wicks, Ekowool, Silica, 32 GA - 26 GA Kanthal including micro coils, 0.5 Ohm to 1.5 Ohm. It just refuses to suck e-juice from the tank into the coil. The only way it works that if I drip directly on the wick, but I have my Nimbis for that. I did not try ceramic wicks or cotton. Could someone tell me if this I-Atty is a peas of junk and I should through it away?

Thanks.

Mike.

I use cotton dual wicks now.
My drilled I-Atty makes Pinoy clouds with single and dual cotton wicks and 50 to 90% VG.
Tiny deck hole RTA wicks great w/ dual wick up to 30% VG.

Hey emus, got a quick question. When you use the double cotton wicks, how do you fill your I-atty. Do you have to remove your wick? or do you just syringe it around the cotton? I have a Z-atty, and I was thinking about doing the same thing to mine, but was thinking about mounting mine in a vice and using my drill press to bore a fill hole.

Thank you mr. EMUS. I'll drill mine tonight and try to use the cotton :)

I drilled three 3/16" deck holes and two 1/8" air holes. That I-Atty is a monster cloud machine. Competes w/ my quad coil dual 1/8" air hole Trident:)

I kept some RTAs w/ stock holes for warm quality vape because I'm not always in the mood for cumulus.

I like twisted 30GA kanthal from 0.6 to 1.7 ohms.

I've drill my genesis tanks out to at least 1/8" and typically use SS wire rope wick because it has worked best with the least effort. The nearest was semi-loose wrap 500 SS mesh with good wiggle room in the hole. The ceramics I've tried do not wick well by any stretch of the imagination. Sure they're easy to wrap but wick not ... my only luck with those was with a skinny one in a big hole where the juice flowed to the coil on tilt vs. wicking. The various cotton wicks I've tried in tanks worked pretty good for a short time until it needs a refresh (effort and disruption). So, maybe try SS cable with wiggle room in the wick hole so you can get a bit of flow by when you burn juice faster than it can truly wick.

That deck hole is so big I can drip 90% VG through DT and is drains into the tank. Fun RTA even though I busted the glass and have DIY tank. I did order a new glass.

That's awesome!!! ....ty about the tank breaking tho.

I have a Z-atty and I had a working Provari Mini 2.5, until one day it just decided to fry itself. Just so happens it was exactly 1 day after my year warranty ended with Provari… Fancy that right? Lol. So I haven't been able to find anything I can fit my Z-atty Pro on until today when I was messing with my Vape box. I figured out that I can fit my Z-atty pro, which is designed to fit only on Provari's, onto my Nemesis Mech!!! If i remove the Air/Beauty ring from the top, it threads right on, keeping super smooth with the body.

I took your advice and drill the base from 2.8mm to 4mm. I didn’t do the dual though. I had an OK result with the Stainless mesh, but the COTTON did the trick. With a single Cotton wick it produces almost too much vapor now that I didn’t have to do double. Thank you for your advice! I no longer hate my Genesis stile Atty, I use it just as much as I use my KayFun 3.1 I just recently acquired a new IGO-W3 RDA and built it with four micro coils of 26GA and 8 strand of 3mm Ekowool to 0.3 ohm. It produces so much vapor that I can’t even handle. It is a “Stem Machine”. But I still am in an experimental faze of my new hobby. I’m awaiting on my Taitun GT, Ithaka and Aqua tanks to arrive. Kangers, Inokins and VIVI’s are going to rest. I’m only still using my Dual Coil Cartomizer Tanks.
Here is my IGO-W3 build:

Oh yea, almost forgot: I’ve replaced my battery on my Ci You with 30A Sony High Drain because at .3ohm it draws 14 Amps of current. But it produces so much vapor, that I had to go and get me a 6mg Nicotine VG only juice and I’m not into lung hits. It’s just too much to handle with my usual 18mg 50/50 juices.
