This is my first day without any analogs, not even a taste of my husbands prince.
I've had my Volt e cig for quite som times (an ego twist is on its way) but it was last night that I started to vape for real
and stopped smoking! :) I have smoked for 5 years now and about 15/day. I both hate and love my marlboros,
its a weird feeling but it feels like im loosing a friend. I have saved one last one just in case, I dont want it but
I panic if I dont have any at all in the house. I love to smoke, I really do. I like the taste, the social thing, everything about it.

But my mom got throat cancer last year (she didnt even smoke!) and everyone in my famely has died before the age of 65 do to cancer (not even one smoked!). So I thought, we have cancer in the famely and I smoke. How stupid can one person be?

Im very confident that I can quit the analogs! And Im really happy that I found this forum where I can talk to people that in the same sitation because I think its hard not to smoke. I dont like not to smoke and this days has been a crappy day! But enough talk about me, I have a problem.
My husband has smoked for 23 years
and about a pack a day, sometimes even more. He love to smoke and he dont want to quit at all. He dont like the ecig not even in diffrent flavours because he says "Its not the same". He hate the tobacco flavour.

Im pretty sure that he's getting sicker by the day. He refuses to go to the doctor and he refuses to quit smoking. He looks like .... to be honest. He is now 35 and have had a pack a day since he was about 15. What can I tell him to at least try the e cig? Do anyone know any flavour that tastes like prince red?

And one more question, why do I get so thirsty when I vape? :)

Welcome to ECF.

Congratulations on the quitting smoking! Keep up the good work!
Remember: Cigs are NOT your friend. They just pretend to be. You don't want to continue to suffer from "smoke inhalation" do you? Wrecking your lungs? So keep trying.

Vaping dries you out. Drink extra water. PG and VG both attract water...and also you need to water to flush your system out...particularly when quitting smoking....but to flush the PG/VG out too.

Your husband....you can lead a horse to water.....

Give him time. Don't do it all at once. Focus on you and be an example. Just wait until you both go climb some stairs.... ;)

Good luck! :)

I certainly understand that. I smoked my last one this morning and so far I'm not inclined to go out and buy another pack. I just got some higher nic juice in yesterday and it seems to be holding me.

Good luck to you and vape on ;)

Good for you! I started the same way you did. I've had my slip-ups (even as recently as last night) but it hasn't been nearly as hard as I feared.

My partner is the same as your husband--problem with him is that he had quit for 1 1/2 years and then started again. He doesn't like any of the flavors I've had him try.

I think it's just a deep-seated connection to this thing that has been with you for most of your life, and the thought of losing it is something they don't really want to face. I know, I had that too (and it sounds like you have as well). Maybe it will come, maybe not. Unfortunately it's his own choice and there's not much more we can do to help them.

Just stay strong in your desire to quit and be consistent. Don't give up, and happy vaping!

Now its been six days of not smoking and i dont even miss it!
The real test for me was this weekend when i went out and had a few drinks and everyone was smoking exept or me! Weeii! :D

Got my Vivinova tank and eGo twist today and couldnt be happier! Ive heard that the kanger tank would be great to, i need more than one tank, but is it better than the Vivi?

Six days, good for you. Keep it up! Before you know it it'll be 10 days...20...30, and you'll be feeling better and proud of yourself. Don't even consider going back to the stinky cigs.

I liked smoking too, but it got to the point where I had to face the truth. I was killing myself and paying good money to do it - NO WAY!

Each day you don't smoke is a day you win and the tobacco companies lose. Happy vaping!

If you want to try a Kanger (bottom coil), check out the Kanger Evods, they fit nicely on an eGo.

Its just a litte harder for me here in Sweden because tis illegal to sell ejuice with nic content! I know its so weird. Its legal to buy but not to sell :s
So does anyone know a godo vendor that chip to Sweden?

Now I got mine from a swedish vendor but because its not legal they dont have so many flavours with nic content..
I like fruity flavs like lemon or peach (the peach is My fav) :) Thanks for helping me out :)
