i purchased my first ecig from amazon.co.uk (link below) 2 weeks ago, and i think it is an amazing product. Now i want to start filling my own cartridges, but i cannot find the model number of the product i bought. From what i understand from the readings i did here, I need to know the model number to be able to find the right empty cartridges. Will someone take time to take a look at the link below and help me to identify the model number and\or point me to a website that sells empty cartridges that will fit my ecig?

Also, the are selling 10 cartridges for 9 usd. Do you think thats a good deal?

I used to smoke 40 analogs a day and now I consume 2-3 cartridges a day. So, I would say each cartridge worths around 7-8 cigs. Do you think thats normal?

edit: i cannot post links due to low post count, but if you go to amazon.co.uk and search for icig it is the first thing that comes up.

if you go to the co.uk site you should be able to see it. I have not tried to fill the cartridges as i dont have any juice yet. As far as I understand, first I need to find the empty cartridges that will fit my e cig?

Btw, I am paying 1 usd for each cartridge, and each cartridge worths around 7-8 analog. Would it be cheaper to purchase ejuice and refill?

Are you talking about a cartridge or a cartomizer? Is this the one http://smokersstop.co.uk/electronic...-best-vapour-device-throat-hit-28day-warranty

I know this model... it's the same basic design as the Smoking Stick which is a so so website brand and was in fact my first PV.

The little cup on the left in the bottom picture is what holds the juice, and it doesn't hold much. Of course it doesn't create much vapor either.

You can refill these. Max... maybe 4 or 5 drops. You either have to drop from the top of the cartridge very carefully and hit the tiny cup, or tap the cup out, refill, and drop back in.

If it works for the OP- great... I've retired mine.

Yeah, This unit looks very much like a variation on the EM 401, 402 or 403. It has a plastic cartridge with an inner little cup reservoir for juice. It also has an exposed wick atomizer.
Some of these models work fairly well. My first one was like this but it was pretty hit or miss as far as performance goes. I quickly moved on to another model.

...

It looks like a DSE103...

At least that is what the atty looks like.

That would make sense because the DSE103 uses the same battery as the RN4081 as does the Smokestik

thanks for the replies. Seems like I bought a bad model. I should have done more research before I bought the product. I will stop spending money on this one because of the low performance I am getting. i have two batts and they would not last a day for me.

Seems like I should be getting Riva. Anyone knows a website that ships from uk or any other eu country?

This DSE 103, a very unsuccessful model
A small cartridge and weak battery

I think the reason that the DSE103 was not popular was the small cartridge and the exposed bridge, not the battery.

The RN4081 uses the same battery and some consider it to be one of the best e-Cigs ever made. But the RN4081 has a non exposed bridge so it is easy to drip with. And you can get double carts for it also.

That cart in BradSmith's link looks a lot like another L88B similar to the Blu or Volcano. If so, toss the filler and use blue foam, then put a little VG in your juice and you'll double the performance of those carts. Still won't out do a 510 or 901, but will make them work much better.

Also looks similar to the E7 from SS Choice that I have. Quick question, I've seen a number of posts that refer to blue foam. The carts that came with my e-cig have what looks like fiberfill in the cup. While they're relatively easy to refill, the fiberfill appears to be glued into the cup, and they don't hold a lot of juice. Where can I get blue foam, and can I replace the fiberfill with it without gluing it into the cups.

the blue foam is MarineLand Rite Size U and is available in pet stores. Comes in a pack of three sleeves which is enough to last a lifetime. For those little carts I cut a piece 1/4 x 1/4 x 3/4, half fill the cart and push the foam in then top off. No need to glue it or anything. For the 510 devices, I cut it into a wedge slightly longer than the cart, a little wider at the top and taper down to about 1/4". I wash the foam every couple of days and re-use until it gets gunky or stained. I like it for my L88B, J108, and 510 PVs.

Thanks, that sounds simple enough. I presume once the foam is in teh cart, you just leave it in until you're ready to replace/wash it.

Does the foam work ok with the atty's that have the exposed coil, or do you get any burning?
