Totally awesome! Mine is completed as well. Same deal, but I got my flashlight from Tractor Supply for 1.99.
If you notice the clear plastic starting to degrade (which it will from the nic juice) try taking a copper/metal token (from like chuck e. cheese or cici's pizza or something) they fit perfectly in there and last a load longer. So do quarters, but you can get in trouble for defacing US money (LOL). Also if you like the plastic feel. Coca Cola (2 Liter) bottle caps work great as well!
Also if you want to have a liquid/flood catcher. using a 1dram Lorann flavoring lid drilled to your atty size will work great!
Great Job! Beautiful Finish!! I'm really liking the chrome/silver look. I opted for blue, since every PV I have is either Red, Black, or Chrome.
Where'd ya pick up ur color changing LED? and hm?
That's nice. So that is a 'stock' flashlight tube that does in fact fit the 18650 + switch without the need for any kind of an extension?
As opposed to something like this?

I'm on it, thanks for the tip!Yes sir WillyB, I have been looking and looking and looking for a tube that was long enough to fit a switch and an 18650, and I finally found it!... Check out your local Home Depot, mine has an extra large selection of flashlights this time of year for christmas, this one was $1.59.
Actually wanna countersink a horn button, may still go with 18500's then (room).Willy, no comments on the little switch? hehe.
18650s have fit in flashlights for a long time.
But, I did have to eliminate the bottom switch.
darn.
Nice job to the OP![]()
The horn button's guts are actually rather small, I want to sink it in which means about a 3/4" hole.
Like this.

Wanna knock out some easy big bat mods for some folks who've been bugging me.
Maybe try some Planishing.![]()
