There it is! The dropper bottle with the blunt needle tip attached that 42109 did! It's the second mod down in his avatar pic.

Pictures! We demand pictures 42109! ...... anda how-to!

Like this? IThe needle runs through the cap & that's a carto condom around it.
t's a little discolored because it still has liquid in it. This one is a 3ml.

Wow! Sharp, Sci! What size needle is that and how did you seal the needle in? In case anyone gets these and wants to use the needle as a dripper or to fill their cart filler with liquid quickly.

This needle-Dispensing Needle, Blunt Tip 18 ga x 1" Tip, 50 pcs
Was in this pack-Dispensing Needle Assortment 100 pcs tip sampler kit
From this seller-CML Supply on Amazon
They are luer lock & pretty inexpensive.
I just drilled a hole in the cap that was big enough that the needle would sit snug. I took the dropper tip off of the 3ml bottle, screwed the cap on & it keeps the needle in. It didn't leak. I was thinking about using epoxy, but never did. Right now, I have that needle in the cap of one of MV's 30ml bottles. Works great

Connman, how's the mod holding up? You've had a day to run it through the mill.:)

Holding up rather nicely Sci although I`m hitting my 5 volt much more though.
I did happen to play with another tube just a tad. Well along with my trusty Jeff Gordon Bic lighter.

Melted or actually tried to just flatten the end of the tube slightly where it bends. It flattened alright into a rather very sweet looking flat end for a mod. :toast:
Should have used hot water but this was going into someplace never to be seen again and didn`t matter. Although this is not what I was going for. I just need the tube for a protective sleeve for sliding the battery into a eclipse mint tin. These will work great for that by the way. But that`s one of the other projects I`m working on at the moment.

Here you can see the modded one and it`s rounded tip which holds the switch at a ideal angle compared to the modded end of the tube.

That looks like the top of some of those high dollar mods. Great find on these. I'm going to have to see what I can find local. I've got some, but they are for a 3cc syringe & I don't like 10440 batteries.
What are you using for the top cap in this?

I just looked up the eclipse mint tin. Those are sharp. That's going to be a good looking mod. What size battery will they hold?

That mint tin will hold 1 18650 just need to crimp the lid ridge to flatten out to let it slide in. It will actually hold 2 but not much room after that. Then this syringe holder tube fits right in there giving it a safe cradle to perch in. Actually just what was needed in my looking for the perfect battery slot device in there.

Now the end cap on my mod here. The positive is actually a roller out of a old broken printer. Used to have a rubber ring on it to feed the paper through the machine. It fit perfect into the tube just needed to cut a slot for the ground wire to pass by it.
Or if you are referring to the ground end cap. That`s redneck for now meaning I just soldered a spring to the end of the ground and have to place it into the cap when removing or installing the battery. I`ve got better ways to do this but that`s just taking more time then I wanted to toss at this for now. Got much better mods on the burner you could say.

Hey Sci off topic but My sister came up with a good idea for Project Top Kill in the Golf Oil Mess going on. Those Rare Earth Magnets. Shoot them into there and they will form a Clog.

Talk about creativity. Nothing goes to waste!
I found out that a dime conducts pretty good & it can be soldered. I've got a flashlight mod that a dime will be the connector for the ground.

I like that eclipse tin. That is going to be a sharp mod when you get it done!

It would work. If that pipe is metal, they would stick & hold. You could clog that hole in no time. Oh yeah, i found out you can solder to them also.

Sci you are a pure genius.
I was getting ready to solder the magnet when I decided to try a small magnet on the negative battery end. Those little ones are to small but I had some from wal-mart that are almost as big as the end of the 18650. Perfect fit to the contact actually.

Now that spring I have already soldered to the ground wire really likes that magnet as well. This has made the perfect connection for the ground. Vapes even without the end cap on it.

Think this will also be a good way to do the eclipse mint tins.

I used to have a ton of those from my days working at a vets office. days way before vapeing came along.
I used to fashion them in to estes rocket nosecones. Wish I had them now.

But you may ask your local veterinarian for them, they throw them out constantly.
