I built my first coil on my rsst but have a problem. My Vamo (v2) says it's 2.5ohms and fires but my S.I.D. reads 9.9ohms and won't fire. Any clues as to what i did wrong?

Is the center pin down far enough to touch?

Usually a 9.9 means that there is a short or no atty attached to device. If no short is present (since it read on your Vamo) then its probably what dash said and is a center pin/connection issue.
