I just wanted to add one more little thing, just in case someone stumbles across this and needs a little extra push.
Two months ago I literally had no idea about the realities of vaping. I didn't even know it was a "thing."
I started quite literally by accident. My green battery purchase was done out of curiosity alone, with a desire to stop smoking but not really convinced vaping was a legitimate method.
I found this forum as most googling leads one to articles on this site. Needless to say I was very intimidated by all the "tech speak," I didn't know the abbreviations, and I had no idea about the different models, etc. I figured plain ole batteries would be for me.
So the notion of wrapping my coils was forevermore to be for "other people." Young people. Hip people in a "scene." Cloud chasers. Ya know. I reckoned it was over my head.
But gosh-darnit, I wanted more flavor!! I'd come so far not smoking, why should I be deprived of what I was longing for?
So I told myself that learning about batteries, wrapping coils, etc., was NOT beyond my scope of understanding. I came here, asked some very, very typical newb questions in a rapid succession. (I learned long ago not to worry about pride while learning. Everyone must start somewhere.)
I may try, I may fail, but I WILL learn. And by God, I will NOT smoke.
So please don't tell yourself that anything that interests you -- or can HELP you -- is beyond your own scope of learning. I love my mother so much, but her fear of trying things has kept her from enjoying things, and it breaks my heart to see someone say "I can't do that" just because they think something is beyond him or her.
I know that wrapping coils is not the end all, be all of human success. But it is one little thing that maybe someone wants to do and doesn't think is possible.
It is!!!
