I tried 10 wraps on subtank I had too much space in between the coil.I guess you went with just a standard build "coil"..mine was touching the sides it was too long,went with 5 wraps with no problem its centered all I have to do is wick it.

Variant weight 278 grams/Smy 270 grams cannot get much closer than that what is that hole on the top of the Variant?It's not the same, but same max wattage. That mod is much larger then the variant. The variant is only slightly taller then a Hana v3
That one uses 3 18650 batteries, the variant uses one li-po battery pack

How many battery packs did you get?I looked around for that type.I was thinking am I going to have to go through same vendor to get more batteries was just wondering?
awesome site but finding that particular battery I'm having a little trouble doing that.Cigabuy wants $20 for the same exact battery that comes with the mod.
