it took me about 2 weeks or so to properly even start wrapping my coils and mounting them and making sure they were somewhat straight it's still a work in progress,I have gotten pretty good with magma builds so far,so I am going to stick with that for now!.The patriot and the kayfun + will be next they're not going anywhere lol.Keeferes ,and many others have been so helpful, its not like I started vaping yesterday I have been at this for about 4 years I guess, but the building part is new to me and I am loving it.

Kayfun building isn't as hard as some seem to think...though my build progression was backwards. I started with rebuilding my kanger heads to save money and get better hits out of a protank 2....then I moved to a kayfun and then to an RDA. One secret to the kayfun is to lay your legs so they wrap your posts clockwise...easier to tighten the screw that way. Also amount of wicking is important. Too much will block the juice channels giving you dry hits.

Same identical progression I took. Side not for Kayfun... A 5/64 ID coil will take a doubled piece of Peaches and Cream yarn perfectly. Makes wicking a KF super easy, fast, and consistent. I use heavy VG juice and cn chain vape with that setup. Ohms is up to you as is 30, 32, 28, or whatever awg. I personally like 1.6 from 28awg.

I also use 28 gauge...my fav to work with. I tend to build organically (testing ohms a lot). Found a nail that gives me a diameter I like...10 wrap nano coil gives me 1.2 ohm...my sweet spot on my panzer mod. I use organic cotton balls for wick. Cheap, great flavor, and once you figure out the correct amount to use, easy to work with...for me :p

I use 28 gauge in everything: RDA, kayfun, kanger tanks. Not too thin so holds shape nicely, not so big I can't fit a 1.4 ohm nano coil in my kanger heads (love nano coils)

magma dual coil build @ 1ohm at around 14.5 watts is a lung buster.

I am wishing I had a nice 50 watt variable
Me too! Even with the bad reviews I have been considering an iPV 2. Only thing holding me back is the Sigelei 100 Watt coming in just a couple more weeks. Suposed to be around the same price point. Curious to see what comes down the pipe from Inokken and Evolv after the svd 2.0, and mvp I am sure. Would love a VTR 30 Watt DNA powered.

I love mine, there has been a couple of people making a lot of noise about how bad it is, especially with Pbusardo getting a beta that was a lemon, but I've been in both IPV 2 threads for a long time and 9 out of 10 people love it. I definitely love mine, they are coming out with the 2S that's user upgradeable through downloadable firmware up to 100 watts(I believe), with a lot of other nice features, I would just wait until that comes out if you are thinking of buying one, P4Y claims it will be out in a couple weeks.
Sorry for the side track

Edit: There have also been a couple of people that had problems with theirs, one guys short detection didn't work, would keep firing even with a short, a lot of the problems people were having were from using batteries that didn't have the amp rating needed, but there definitely have been a few people that weren't happy with it.

Sadly I can't afford one, no matter how much I yearn for it.

The only variable I have is an itaste vv v3.....it was a great little device, until I learned how to rebuild my kanger heads. Now the 11 watt peak is just not cutting it anymore, where stock heads can only go about 9 watts, I've tested mine up to 25 on a dna30 at a b&m, and could tell I had room for more

If you guys(or gals) mind the interruption let me know, I'll stay on topic.
