I know it's a matter of preference but what do you think would be the best ohm range for kayfun, wattage is not a issue 50 max.Keeferes posted a build if I'm not mistaken it was a single Coil I'm going to scroll back and see if I can find it.

I build mine around 1.2-1.4 ohms. Performs nicely at that range on my mech

its on page 22,regal I totally understand your point of view.I have yet to even take my magma out an about, just been using Nautilus aspire, aerotank mega mostly when I'm away from home
Same here, I use a nautilus at work and in public, I used my Igo L out in public once, and people constantly stopped to talk to me and a lot of random people asked me if they could hit it, thinking it was something else. I stick to the nautilus now.

think I'm going to view a video about the build right quick.Well rip makes it look so easy.

When I first tried building a Kayfun I downloaded a dew youtube video's, put them on my tablet and went to work. Well neither worked and both were different. Then I started looking throughout you-tube and no one builds the damn KFL the same. Finding a build that worked became like finding a needle in a haystack.

My grandmother makes her own coils for her trident. Course she is not your average 85 year old, but most anyone can build a coil with some practice and something to check your ohms

Wrapping the coil isn't so difficult, it is mounting it to the deck under those ridiculously tiny screws (tried the cheesehead.) without making hot spots. I want to see grandma do that.

Its the 21st century at the least have anchoring with set screws like the 3.1 (but without the terrible fill hole.)

RDA are so for advanced technically for the builder and some of them hold as much liquid as the KFL I do hope the Chinese factories continue to improve on the KFL design because the Germans and the Russians didn't get it right IMHO..
