When bundling papers, what do the Brits call the rubbery band that is used to keep the papers together?
a rubber band is one of those circular streachy things used to hold things by compression and the rubber sheet is a circular disc made of rubber and is used to aid with gripping the lid of jars to assist in opening them

Oh elastic bands, oh yeah we do sometimes call it rubber bands. I ended up using a plier in the end but my god what the f.
It gets better. Just make sure when you fill it with liquid and close it up that you don't over-tighten. You just need it snug, the rubber gasket on the bottom will do the rest.
I try to avoid pliers when I can because I am afraid that I will somehow bend something out of shape. The rubber band thing is cheap and really does work. Just wrap it around the bottom piece and use it to grip as you try to unscrew it.

Thank you and yes i made sure i didnt over tighten it, already loving it really am amazed like why i didnt just read up before idk, it's bloody brilliant. I know now what all them youtubers and people were saying about full flavour. Only using it on my vision spinner 2 but cant wait to use it on my eLeaf iStick when it arrives!!
I like the airflow adjustment as well, really is a step up from them crappy iclear 16 clearomizers lol.
Get the stainless steel sleeves and ditch the pyrex tube. I was always afraid of breaking the pyrex because I had to grip it so tight when opening it. With the SS sleeve you can get a good solid grip without worrying about shattering the glass.

Don't wipe the juice off the silicone base. It helps when you want to unscrew it. When you screw it in, go barely barely hand tight...then loosen it close to 1/4 turn. I read that on one of these forums. Since I have started doing that, it unscrews very easy.
Same thing happened with me, I couldn't open it! And the juice around the silicone base really does act like a lubricant. And it doesn't really take as much force as you think to tighten it up enough so it doesn't leak. Learning curve for me for sure.
I hate when this happens...it's only happened a couple of times to me, but I carefully used some pliers to grip the base just under the airflow control to loosen it a bit. Using one of those rubber things that are for opening tight soda bottle seems like a better option tho
Your fears are founded - accidentally bent mine, ever so slightly, doing this exact thing
Before the wife throws away her old latex dish gloves I cut a 3" square off. Much cheaper than buying a metal sleeve.
