So, first and foremost…I lost my provari. THE best e-smoking device i have used. I go into this store that I know sells e-smoker things. i see one that looks like my prover, but when i held it, it felt much lighter than what i am used to. I say "screw it I'm buying this new one"…like none of you get all wide eyed at the prospect of buying a new vapor.
The guy rings me up and the price is like $115, so I'm thinking to myself "it can't be THAT bad if it cost so much" I shuffle off and fill my new smoker with some regular tobacco juice. I drive off and do whatever. a few hours later i have a free moment so I pull the box out and check out the details. I even google the brand name to see if i can find some reviews on it. Sorry, i don't remember the name brand but the first thing that jumps out at me is the price. $69.99. if i could write that it caps i would. I just paid $115 for something that i could have gotten for 70 bucks…

any one else get ripped off like that before?

If your B&M has a website, order online and do a local pickup if they have that option. You'll pay the online price that way. I live close enough to a B&M store that I just drive down there once in a while to pick up a few things. They give me the online price if I say "I saw that was such and such price on the website". Just do a bit of homework before stopping in and you might save some cash.

If I am in the market for "Anything" vaping or non that is going to cost me over $50 I do some research to find the best price.
If it is only a few bucks more, I support the local supplier.
If it is $15 or more, I buy on line.
Sorry your impulse buy was a spendy lesson.

I live near Fife, were was the store located? Was it the new one in Fife? Was it on Bridgeport?
I know the one on Pacific has some jacked up prices.

All I can say is now you know better. It is good to get a cheaper price, sometimes. The local B&M, if they are any good, will also be there for you when you are having hardware problems or want to get a hands on look at something new. And sometimes you just can not wait a week to 2 months for something in the mail that could also be a clone. Do your research. It does happen to most of us at one time or another. Cheap is not always best.

We have a B&M here that sell SS Vamo's for $115 a pop... And sadly, people buy them up left and right... They sell it with a 3400 mAh trustfire protected battery and a trustfire charger... Garbage

I don't have the heart to tell them how much a premium they just paid... I just look at the clerk and shake my head a little... They sell replacement heads for ProTanks at reasonable prices, otherwise I wouldn't go there at all...

don't feel bad, we've all over paid a few bucks for a drink at a trendy bar, a dinner out, whatever... It's like buying cigars. I seldom would buy a large quantity at a cigar shop, but I would go in once in a while, buy a nice stick, sit hang out enjoy. If you don't support the local stores, they won't be there when you want to try some new flavors, or touch a new piece before buying it. You could probably even haggle privately when no one else is around. I haven't done that yet as I did buy my 1st upgrade online. I first walked into a store a few weeks ago and knowing nothing bought an ego kit and 10ml of juice. I'm sure I could have bought one online for half the price... but I paid for the education. I've bought a couple juices online, didn't like them, paid retail for the last couple juices because at least I could taste them live first. so which is more expensive... juice online you don't use, or juice retail you do. same thing with your piece, if you had an issue, you could exchange it live. that's the benefit of a local shop.

Exigency is sometimes worth the price. I've paid more for things I needed in a hurry.

Your health is your wealth, so as long as you didn't walk into a local B&M and buy....cigarettes, I'd say hallelujah. :)

I just spent 80 $ at a b&m for an ego twist vv knowing I have several sets at 75percent less and a provari on route but didnt want to go through a weekend without vaping.
I really wanted to get off of analogs and wanted to start vaping this weekend so I have time to play with it and to know what to expect instead of fiddling with it at work..
