I can't find e-liquids I like.

So I've had my Kanger EVOD for a few months now, and I love it. But I've realized I'm going back to regular cigarettes because besides one juice I've tried, I either don't care too much for or get tired of all the flavors I've bought so far.

My latest purchase (over a month ago) was the Halo variety pack (Kringle's Curse, Belgian Cocoa, Turkish tobacco, etc...), and the only one I have a taste for is the chocolate. (Side note: I haven't had any luck finding a tobacco flavor that's not bleh).

So that's why I made an account here! I need some help so I don't go back to cigarettes.

So a few things I have learned
1. Try lots of flavors
2. When you can try to add extra flavor shots, I still find most flavors muted in a carto or glassomizer
3. An rda produced tons of flavor
4. All tobacco flavors taste like a tea to me and havent found one I enjoy much
5. Just get stronger nic and give up on the analogs once you do flavors taste different and analogs taste like your sucking on an ashtray after a week or two off them.

Just my experience thus far. Good luck keep trying

try FLAVORZ by Joe. They're the only tobacco flavored juice I like

Any particular juice?

finding the perfect liquid is a never ending quest, but you do need to find something that works for you most of the time.
I'd suggest you visit several local vape shops in your area, most of them will have "testers" you can try and see what you like without spending a lot of money

Sadly there are no vape shops around here. :(

Sadly it's just so expensive to try out flavors only to not even like them enough to want to use them.

If money isn't an issue (it shouldnt be, you're saving so much by not smoking) do what I do. Go to some recommended sites and buy a bunch of small bottles (15ml or so) to try em out. Then the ones you don't like either give to a friend or put em up on the classifieds here. A couple weeks ago I got a small bottle of every juice that sounded good to me on vape revs site. Most of them are pretty fantastic. Currently waiting on one of every juice from Bryce's.

Have you tried flavors other than tobacco? It seems that everyone starts out looking for a tobacco flavor to mimic what they used to smoke, but I found (when I was sampling at local vape shops) that I liked fruits and sweets a lot more. Also, having multiple flavors allows you to change them throughout the day. This helps prevent becoming tired of them (in fact, I should probably switch out my current Kiwi Banana for Cinnamon Roll...). I actually picked up a few extra tanks just so I can mix and match throughout the day. One of my regular B&M stops (Vapure Premium U.S.A Made E-Liquid, Electronic Cigarettes & Accessories) sells sample packs online (5 ml bottles) for reasonable prices, so I'll throw that in as a suggestion.

Also, +1 on the nic level. I spend most of my time (usually chain-vaping) on 11-12 mgs, but every two-three hours I switch (extra tanks again) to 18 mg to fend off any impending cravings. The two times that I did have a strong craving, I hit on my 24 juice until it went away. And, if later, I find that I don't need the 24 strength anymore, I won't let it go to waste: I'll simply mix it with some 12 mg juice (either same flavor or complimentary) and make it 18.

Welcome to ECF! I've found that not only do the people here know just about all there is to know about this process, they're also some of the nicest folks around--and most have been through the exact same difficulties you and I continue to face. Best of luck!

ELiquidSamples has 1 ml sample sizes from several vendors for very good prices. We just tried 6 from Virgin Vapors through them about a month ago. Just the right size to see if you like the juice.
Have you been letting your juices steep? Sometimes steeping makes all the difference in the world as far as flavor goes. We have ordered from Mt. Baker Vapor, Vapor Bomb, and The Vapor Room. Some of the juices were good to go right out of the mailbox. Others required steeping to reach full enjoyment.
I don't know if Mt. Baker Vapor is doing any sales for Easter, but Vapor Bomb has 25% off today through Thursday. There is a coupon code required. The Vapor Room is also running specials now through Easter - any coupon code is listed on their site.

I only smoke 1-2 packs every week, and sometimes go a month without a cigarette. It's not a huge habit for me. But it helps with my anxiety, and I find smoking very relaxing, especially vaping with different flavors.

So this isn't a habit I want to spend tons of money on; it never has been anyway. I just want to find 3-5 different flavors that I absolutely love, and then switch between those.

Thanks for all of the suggestions so far! I appreciate the help and the welcome.

My thing is I need 1 good coffee, candy, fruit, mint and a couple tobacco flavors, and than I'll be set for life (until I feel adventurous again.). Anybody have any near universally great recommendations of those types?

I'll give you my recommendations:

Coffee - Queen Tira or Morning Cup by Hat Trick Vapor USA E Liquid | E Juice | E-Liquid Reviews | Hat Trick Vapor
Candy - Nostalgia by Namber Juice Nostalgia - All Namber Originals
Fruit - cant recommend since I don't vape fruits
Mint - cant recommend since I dont vape mint (too much like menthol to me)
Tobacco - RY4 juices. Many companies make an RY4. My favorite RY4 type juice is Golden Road by steamjuice http://www.steamjuice.us

All of these are fantastic to my taste buds. However, I do have to change up my juice fairly regularly or else it becomes hard to taste it. Vapers Tongue is a real condition. I hope you find some juices you enjoy enough to just rotate a few of them forever. Just don't be surprised when you end up with enough juice to supply a small army :)

Taste is subjective and recommendations by others are difficult at best.

For me, not getting tired of any specific flavor is mostly accomplished by having a rotation of many different flavors throughout the day. I know that if I vape just one flavor during a day I do feel like getting bored with it, fast. Another option is to go the DIY route and mix your own flavors. I know, that might be a bit excessive but I've been getting into that in order to still try out a lot of different nice sounding recipes without spending the 100's of dollars a month buying every possible juice from every possible vendor in search for more great flavors. I still do that to some degree but less than I used to now that I mix my own liquids up.

My favorite Halo juice is Torque56. To me, it's like standing in the break area and puffing with the other people.

I second the RY4, although there are various versions that taste slightly different. For throat hit, higher nic levels produce it. I find that after switching from 24mg to 9mg nic I need to go back to some juices that just had too much TH at higher nic levels. With lower nic, they are surprisingly satisfying.

Your taste buds are deadened from years of smoking. It will take a while before you can appreciate the subtle notes of ecig juice. Most juices are designed for those who have quit for a while and can detect all the nuances of the flavors.

If it's taste you are looking for, Lorann Oils has just about any fruit, candy, or bakery flavor you could imagine. Add a couple of drops to a tank along with your tobacco juice and the flavor blossoms. Caramel, vanilla, English Toffee, Lime, and other flavors can enhance the taste of a bland tobacco juice.

I went through the same thing as you when I first started. I found that you can always count on a minty/menthol flavor until you find a vendor you like. For me it was backwoodsbrew.net . They have every flavor you're looking for and more. I love the cappuccino, honey flue tobacco and my favorite is applewood tobacco. The most popular flavor they have is called casablanca which is a turkish style tobacco but was not my cup of tea.

It really does come down to each his own in the end. The way i found out about BWB was through a trade i did with another member on the site.

I prefer tobacco vapes and dessert vapes...so i can make some reccs. I have bought/ sampled a bunch of stuff over the last few months and only like a small percentage.
Best tobaccos i've found:
Crystal canyon- tombstone
Crystal canyon- empire
Mom n pops- ry4

Note that the crystal canyon stuff should be steeped for at least a week.

Have a bunch of stuff i'm not into as well but others seem to like. Always up to work out a trade as well.

Finding really good liquids has been a chore for me too. SO many of them just don't appeal to me. I've actually fallen "off the wagon" a couple of times and went and had a smoke. Best advice I could give would be find a B&M near you and taste test as many as you can. Who knows, even if it sounds like something you wouldn't like, you may just like it. Good Life Vapor's Deadly Sin and Spook Sauce are my go to flavors anymore. They are just consistent...at least to my taste buds. Good Luck!
