Anybody else when they started... or even now have a problem putting their e-cig down? I'm dragging on it less than I thought I would but even now as I type I have it in my left hand. I got one of my shot glasses to sit it in when I want to put it down.... I put it in it, 45 seconds later I picked it right back up... It's like a blankie

I've never went more that 3ml a day and sometimes under 2. Hasn't changed much since I started. During the day when I'm busy I'll hit it occasionally. Which is nice, 1 or 2 drags and I'm good to go for a while as opposed to taking a 10 min smoke break every so often when I was doing cigs, I get alot more done.

Driving or in the evenings when I'm not busy is when I'm hitting it more.

I am the same way. It's crazy because I just like holding it in my hand. I was on the train today and I actually forgot that I had it in my hand. At one of the stops a more seasoned lady came and set beside me. While I was listening to my music I noticed that she kept looking down at my hand, as I was looking at her out of the corner of my eye. When I looked in my hand my new best buddy was right there waiting. LOLOLOL. I just cant put it down.

I am not a person with much willpower. But I went into ecigs determined not to increase my nicotine dependence. So I don't let myself vape constantly. At home I leave the ecigs in another room and go to that room to vape. I only keep one next to me if I will be stuck in one place for a while. I own PTs in case of battery emergencies but I don't use them other than that. At work my ecigs are on my desk and but i do set them down.

I like that I don't vape constantly. It let me drop my nicotine and just vape extra to smooth over the transition. If you're not vaping all the time you can always vape more if you feel needy. If you are vaping all the time then the only path when needy is to use higher nic or more powerful ecigs and eventually you'll hit a ceiling when you can go no further.

No, i dont think it has anything to do with the strength in my case. I do the same thing with high, medium and low. Its almost like that is a habit now.
I'm wondering.. If you use 0 strength, is that harmless if your a constant vapor monster like me?

It depends. There is nothing in ecigs that isn't in real cigs. Nicotine is probably the most dangerous thing in ecigs but you are using none. PG, VG, water, alcohol if any - should all be safe. The dicey part is the flavorings. Most flavorings should be totally safe to vape. But there are some, mainly flavors with butter or custard flavor ingredients that contain diacetyl. Diacetyl is safe to eat but anecdotally not safe to inhale - no studies have been done but diacetyl is in popcorn fake butter flavoring and some guys in a popcorn factory got lung cancer or something and it got blamed on diacetyl. So even though there is only a tiny amount of diacetyl in some flavors, if you want to totally avoid diacetyl you should buy juices from a company that says its flavorings are diacetyl free. I mostly just avoid custardy flavors unless the company says they are diacetyl free.

Go through this thread for names of some diacetyl-free juice companies

I started on a SmokeTip... but went to an eGo with various cartos, averaging about 2-3ml of juice per day... but now I managed to obtain a Reo Grand (reosmods.com) and I average 5ml/day... My sig shows how long I've been vaping and I just love it.

Thanks for the information on diacetyl! I remember hearing about the popcorn factory butter and cancer. I will keep an eye out for that....by the way, I tracked my order and it should be here....TODAY!!!!! Still waiting on the mail!!!!!

I just started 2 weeks with blu (cherry hi)and vapor4life shorty (strawberry 18mg). There is a lot of hate for blu,but i like it. I think maybe it is the difference between auto and manual. I wanted to cut out the cigs because i hate ash,the smell etc. How long do you vape for? what it normal? I am worried about the nic overdose. The batteries suck for me but want move up to ego when i save up.
