Since making the switch from analogs to vaping (about two weeks ago), I have barely been able to sleep! Now, I work nights so I've always had some trouble. It is really hard for me to sleep during the day, especially now when there are so few daylight hours here in Minnesota. But normally if I go for a day or two without enough sleep I crash and sleep for a very long time. Since I've started vaping, I keep going day after day with too little sleep (sometimes none.) Even on my days off when I have nothing better to do than sleep, I can't! Also if I do get to sleep, I can't stay asleep. I am pretty sure the only change is the vaping. My hypothesis is that nicotine is a stimulant and I'm getting more now than I did when I smoked. I smoked about 1/2 a pack a day. Now I am vaping much less than I smoked, and I vape 12mg liquid. Obviously the solution is to vape less, and get lower nicotine e-liquid. But I'm getting that anxiety about vaping less, the same anxiety I used to get when thinking about cutting down on smoking. :( At the moment I haven't slept since I woke up on Sunday afternoon after 4 hours of sleep. I'm going to work in a couple hours. Just to reiterate, before starting vaping I would have slept all day today. I don't even feel tired. But I definitely feel not myself from this lack of sleep.

Anyway.. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

I had the same problem when I first started vaping, along with having extremely vivid dreams when I did sleep. I've been vaping going on 4 months now and my sleep has mostly returned to normal....actually sleeping better now than when I was smoking. I began the same way....vaping almost non-stop. But now I have eased up on the frequency a bit....not intentionally. It seems that with time the "urgency" to vape has subsided a bit.

Ha! I had this problem also when I first started to vape, tho I was in the phase of testing diff juice's, so I was vaping way too much I think. Now I just cut down how much I vape a bit after dinner and sleep normally. Really tho, I have noticed so much more energy just in the few weeks I have switched over from analogs. It's a good thing for me I guess.
