I think I've figured out the trick to getting the most out of your eGo:

First, be sure to thoroughly clean the atomizer with alcohol and blow it out good. Let it sit for at least 48 hours to dry thoroughly. Attach the atomizer to the battery, screw on the atomizer cone, and fill the cartridge with 5 or 6 drops of juice then attach the cartridge to the atomizer. Next (and this is the part most people get wrong) chuck that whole thing out the window and enjoy your Bloog.

i listened to all the "veterans" when i was a noob, and got an ego kit. what a waste of my time that was. i hated, and still do, hate egos. i stll dont understand why anyone recomends a 3 piece e-cig to noobs.

That's exactly what I think every time I see that! I got a Riva and there it sits (although I do get to use the charger on my Bloog and VKs). I feel that people that are new to all this should start with the easiest possible thing. Once they are familiar and enjoy it, then they can experiment. Then come right back here again :)

ehhh... I wouldn't dare bash on my rivas and egos. I've been through a lot of pricey great mods and my end all be all is my Riva w/a FOG avs. It still delivers a ridiculous hit compared to my bloog and I can go 1-2 days without adding juice or unscrewing anything. My bloog is good for most of the day, and the hit+flavor is amazing for its size but it isn't a complete replacement. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my bloog, the 78mm battery is a perfect fit for me and I gladly await the larger PCC, but I wouldn't bash on another device just to make this one look better. The bloog has its place as the best analog sized PV to date, but for the people who need the HEAVY hit it isn't quite there yet and it shouldn't be since most people don't vape that high. I'm rambling but the point is, every device has their place, INCLUDING the rivas and egos

Just came across this

I have Green Smoke (Smoke 51 is the same company and the same product) and Blu Cigs and Bloog like this guy, and this review is pretty accurate. I would add that Blu Cigs has cartos now that are better but the battery life is still very poor. Nothing beats the Bloog batteries.

I agree that every device has its place.

I for one almost went with the eGo/Riva, based on all the feedback here, and I am very glad I didn't. Not because Bloog is the most awesomest thing ever but simply because my wife would have HATED it. She doesn't like fiddly things. Hell, the fact that we have three remotes at the house to watch a movie is a deep annoyance for her. And it is so much easier if both of us are using the same stuff and are mutually compatible.

After our dismal failure using Blu Cigs to start with I was really wary about going with something that was so similar, or at least appeared to be. If we had gone with the most commonly recommended e-cig form then I have no doubt we would have blown a bunch of money and still be smokers.

I've bashed them sice the day I got'em cus I think they are vastly overrated, especially when it comes to TH... They are just to bland a performance.. I'm certainly not trying to belittle them compared to the kr8, I don't have to.. The reason I share this everywhere is because every newb gets told to go get a riva/ego, no matter what wishes they have stated. Have never gotten as good a TH on them as I do on just a reg kr8..

Edit: its certainly not unkommen to see modders bash small pv's even though they havent tried one since the 901, 180 mAh... That is kinda why I get all rawled up about the comparisons sometimes.
