I started a Zamplebox subscription and was disappointed because I got 2 bottles of pretty much the same flavor, another 2 bottles of pretty much the same flavor and 2 bottles of just disgusting flavor. So I ordered a few bottles of juice from Vista Vapors, a company I've ordered juice from in the past. Well the 2 bottles of Vista Vapors were great and only around 5 bucks and the bottles of juice I got from Zamplebox that I looked up online were around 20 bucks from the companies who's product I received and were pretty mediocre at best. Is there really any difference in ingredients? Spending a ton of money doesn't seem worth it when much cheaper juice is just as good and even a little bit better than the more expensive juice. Has anyone had similar experiences?

I've tried them all. I find that eliquid companies with a smaller menu tend to have a better product no matter what the price is. If the selection is somewhat limited, there can be more focus on quality, and therefore, produce a better liquid.

There are some companies (such as Mount Baker) that have a HUGE selection. They have a couple of liquids that I do purchase regularly and that I enjoy. But I find the quality of the liquid overall to be lesser than that of a few other companies that I favor that have a smaller selection (regardless of price).

As with all matters pertaining to e-liquid, your mileage may vary. There are many folks here on the forum that are very partial to what may referred to as premium liquids and dislike the rest. There is a lot of brand loyalty here on all spectrums of price ranges. For me, it took more than a year to really find my comfort zone and know exactly what liquids I love and from which vendors.

My favorite brand of e-liquid ranges between $11-$15 for a 30ml bottle depending on which vendor you purchase from and if there is a sale going on or not.

And although I do not participate, there is always something to be said for DIY e-liquid, which is by far the most cost effective way to vape. Additionally, you can tailor liquid to meet your needs in all aspects.

Good luck to you!

I'm at that year mark and have tried many different brands myself and between my local shop and Vista Vapors I've been pretty happy. I've seen so many positive reviews of the expensive "premium" juice I was curious to see what I was missing and that turned out to be nothing. Sure the Strawberry Banana and Custard juice was appealing but it didn't make a huge impression on me. It was good for a while, but I can't see myself vaping those flavors on a regular basis. They got boring pretty fast and it became more of a novelty than anything.

i have been doing zamplebox for 5 months now. after the first box i was kinda on the fence. second box was better. by the third box i was like "yeah man this is gettin` WAY better!!!" i get 6 bottles a month so in 5 months i`ve gotten 30 bottles and 25 have been great. @ under $30 per month it is a steal and i got no complaints. i tried 2 from vista also and they were ok but nuthin` special.(YMMV) taste is so subjective and what works for me will not work for you. the very first juice i ever vaped was Halo`s Tribeca @ $20 for 30 ml i will never pay more than that for juice. this means i will never try 5 Pawns. i found White Label Juice Co which makes max VG juice for $19.99 for 100 mls with free shipping. max VG is my preference, you need to find your zone.
happy vaping.:vapor:

Every now and then, to treat myself, I may spring for an expensive bottle of juice. Give in the hype every once in a while. But I've never been "blown away".

My last expensive purchase was $24 for a 30ml bottle of "Lime Sparkle" from Fair City Vapes (sold by Giant Vapes) and all the reviews talked about how you could actually taste the carbonation and fizzyness. I taste a good lime flavor, but no fizzyness. I'll vape it all, but won't buy it again. A decent vape but not match for my favorite liquid that is half the price.

1. I've found some really great juices through Zamplebox including seduce juice, 503, Alpha / Omega, Vape Science, Cyclops, Liberty etc.

2. In the past year, Zamplebox has been shifting to so-called "premium" juices that demand to be vaped at high wattages. For example, if I put juice X in a kayfun at 20w it's basically a disappointment and maybe even a bit funky tasting. If I put juice X in an RDA and blast it north of 40 watts, its really satisfying with a clearer taste. Zamplebox and the juice vendors are catering to the enthusiast crowd running devices and builds that require more power.

3. This is why I tend to favor vendors like Seduce Juice and 503, whose juices hold up consistently across devices, builds and power settings. SJ's Jezebel or 503's Sarsparilla kick .... no matter if I'm using an Ego/clearo or a 100w box and RDA.

If you're vaping a banana flavor and you don't like banana juices then you're not going to like that flavor eve. If it's premium. I've had terrible premium juices, not because they're actually terrible but because the flavor isn't for me. I've had good juice from low cost companies but I've had the best juices from premium lines.
