i cleaned my filter......now weak

So i cleaned my filter out, it was brownish and icky, but new, a poster recomended rinsing it in water, then drying it in paper towels. I let it dry completely refilled it, now its weak as heck. Since then too, my atomizer/battery only turns on half the time when i press the button

Maybe try fluffing the filler that's inside of the cartridge. It can become depressed(lol) and hinder airflow.

I am thinking that the problem you are having is with your e-cig and unrelated to the cleaning of your cart filler unless when you refilled your cart, could you have over filled it and possibly flooded your atomizer? Does it gurgle a little when you draw on it? If so, you should remove the atomizer and blow it out from the battery end onto a paper towel then reattach and see if it is any better. I have no experience with manual batteries so I don't know if it just needs charging? Does your e-cig behave the same way with a different, freshly charged battery?

Put a few drops on the atty. That should jump start it if you didn't over fill the cart in the first place which would be the gruggling sound that dee5 mentioned.

I didn't think about the possibility of flooding, oops, lol. But, yeah.... hopefully, you didn't mess up the sensor in the battery by flooding juice into it. Uscrew the batt from the atty and blow into the battery. If juice droplets are coming out, you flooded your batt. I hope that's not the issue though.
