i-clear 16, change the coil and it stops working.

Ok, this gets a little confusing.
Got 5 new coils/heads in for my i16.
Put a new head in the 16, fill it, screw it back to my ego-t and nothing.
After playing with it a while I get fed up and pull out a back up, brand new i6.
Fill it, put it on the ego t and nothing.
Battery is lighting up but I'm getting no vape.
Take the same i16's and put on my vision spinner and they work fine.
Take the kanger protank that was on the spinner and put on the ego-t. Works fine.

In a nutshell the i-16 was working fine on the ego-t until I put a new head on it.
Now it will only work on my spinner.
?????
I thought I read a post that the center post was adjustable.
Does anybody know how to adj the posts down?
It does look to me like the contact on the spinner battery is sitting a little higher than on the ego-t's.

Anybody??

I tried googling and searching here but got so many irrelevant results I gave up.
