Protank 2, ohm ratings?

I've got a protank 2 on a ego-t battery but thinking about getting a spinner or twist and when I got to purchase some new coils for my protank 2 it gives me an option for 1.8 or 2.4 ohms. What's going to be the difference?

The lower the ohm rating of your coil the more wattage will be placed into your vape. It makes it warmer and has the potential for more vapour.

I build my own coils for the PT II and to be honest anything with ohm's from 1.5-2.8 gives a great vape in my experience , i can't tell the difference.

To me it's really all based off of taste. If you have it set too high you'll get a burnt taste which isn't pleasant at all. When i used my protank i'd always get the 1.8's. I enjoyed my twist and still keep it around in case a vaper emergency happens

Was wondering about this as well. I've been using 1.8 dual coils so far, but I was thinking that a 2.4 would actually give me less range, since the optimal voltage point sits higher than the 1.8. The Spinner only goes up to 4.8 volts after all.

You will have zero issues with the 2.4 if your device goes up to 4.8 volts , my MVP goes up to 5 volts and with a 2.4 rated head i get tons of taste and vapor .

If your used to 1.8 try 2.4 , you will not be disappointed.

Thanks, I will certainly give it a go. I forgot I also had some 2.0 Ohm coils laying around, but didn't notice much of a difference compared to my 1.8 ones. 2.4 sounds like a nicer bump.

less ohms, more heat. Coil will work faster also in same voltage. More heat = more power / watts. More watts = more current draw = less battery life. All = more vapor and flavor. Too much power = burned juice. Just don't start to get lower resistance as those unit are not designed to handle large amount of current.
