I have been using a iclear 16 tank work's fine. What's the real life span? I seen they sell the replacement head. Is that the only piece that would need to be replaced? What's cheaper rebuilding or buying new $4 tank?

I assume by rebuilding, you mean putting in the new replacement head, it's quite a bit cheaper than replacing the whole tank. You can get them for about $2. As long as the drip tip, and tank are in good shape, they can be reused many many times. (some liquids can deteriorate the tanks)

Hard to say lifespan, depends on your use and the type of liquid - how fast it gunks up the coils. If you clean them often, they'll last longer. You'll know it's time to replace them (or clean them) b/c vapor production will go down, harder to get a drag, and just tastes bad/burnt.

Answer is it depends on allot of factors what juice etc. I've got some cheap ce4's that are similar that have gone months on the same wick and coil at a couple ml a day. Some juices I dry burn every couple days others every few weeks. Lots of variables though so no one will have the answer. Usually though quite a while if your not cracking the tank etc.

The actual coil should stay fine...the problem I had is that especially with sweeter, darker, thicker liquids....I couldn't get them clean. A ball of gunk would build up on top of the top coil leading to poor performance. You can YouTube search for dry burning iclear 16s...but this never worked for me (on my phone, so links are too hard) ...tasted gross afterwords...some might say I wasn't dry burning long enough...I decided for $2 it wasn't worth the effort. If the ball of goo didn't go away with a cleaning...I would replace the coil. Sometimes just a couple weeks, sometimes a couple months.

Some people clean daily to prevent the ball of gunk. Again I decided too much effort. :)

yes I was talking about the replacement head . I have been using it for a week. I cleaned it yesterday. i started to wonder if i cleaned it weekly how many weeks would the head last ? the replacement head is connecting to the coil ? the coil doesn't go bad after a few weeks ?

Well, like Emily was saying it really depends on your juice and how you vape. Best answer? When it dies or starts to taste horrible, it's done for. Put a new one in. The IClear 16 and 30 are both dual coil, so rebuilding is out in a practical sense.

Best advice so far, and I second it, is from Vapo; get yourself a Kanger mini ProTank2. It is a glass clearomizer, for one, and much higher quality. Just stock it will be better than your IClears. If you choose to rebuild, it is easy to do. Rebuilt ProTanks, either regular or mini's leave IClears in the dust. It isn't even close.

Best of luck, and welcome to ECF!
