Hello all, I am semi-new to vaping... started mom on one 11 mo. ago and off-and-on used her extra PV until she needed it back. Bought my own juices during this time and just never found anything that I liked that I would consider an "all day vape"... it seems that I'm really picky with flavors!! I need help from members like me!

Lets see... first, I'll make a list of what I currently have and do not like. I didn't like them the day I got them, and I don't like them now, after most of steeped for ~9 months.
I'm trying to remember where I got each one...

BASIC tobacco #1, #2 & #3. These were a sample pack from Cignot.

I think all of the following are Dekang... not 100% sure.
'USA mix', Desert Ship, Virginia... and I have another bottle marked USA mix...not sure if it is the same. I think these were my least favorites.

I think all of these are Dekang too, from Litecigusa.
Cream
Cappuccino
Cheesecake
Dr. Pepper (YUCK!)

And then a 'high caliber' cinnamon flavor. Also from Litecigusa. This one is a little different. Sometimes I like it. Often I don't. It's not very cinnmony... really, sometimes it taste like..cake? And it feels so dry and really hurts my throat.
Besides the tobacco juices, all of them just seem to taste the same to me, regardless of being used on new attys/carts. For a very short while I was 'okay' with the cream flavor but it very quickly just didn't taste very good to me anymore.

All of these were initially tried on a Joye 510. I just ordered my own Riva 510 the other week, and they still taste as bad as I remember.

What DO I like? Well, I have a few new samples on the way. With my kit I ordered Green Apple and Smooth Menthol from Liberty Flights. 18 & 24 mg. These were the only two I ordered and am glad to say I do like them, the menthol not as much alone, I actually mixed it all up in another bottle and created very cool feeling jolly rancher apple candy flavor. I do love it. But I'd like more to enjoy.

I think I've given up on any kind of Tobacco flavor. They all... all have tasted like urine to me. Leave a nasty aftertaste. So did the cappuccino flavor I tried.

As for what I have on the way. Have not tried any of these.

From Juicy Vapor I've ordered:
After Dinner D'Lite
Tiger's Blood
French Toast

From Gourmet Vapor I've ordered:
Andys Mint
Rum and Honey
Maiden Coffee
Mimosa

Now, I did try to stick with juices that used limited or disclosed ingredients, namely the diacetyl free people have been talking about. Would like to stick with that.

I'm just really trying to find a few that I like enough to order in 30ml and vape contently all the time. Right now I'm constantly looking to order samples..which run up the bill..how did you find your all day vape if you're picky??

Well from 2 vendors you say you like, I suggest you try:

Juicy Vapor Dragon's Blood - a yummy strawberry blend, if u like tiger's blood u may like this one
Juicy Vapor Artic Berry (in customer creation area) - A FAV, kinda a lighter flavor tho but it's a berry blend that's cool
Gourmet Vapor Funky Monkey - Tastes like the Chunky Monkey ice cream, especially the chocolate chunks in that ice cream

I don't know if it makes me picky because I don't like a lot of juice, or I just don't happen to like a lot of juice I've tried.

After trying hundreds of juices (that might be a slight exaggeration) I find very basic, not overly flavored juices work best for me. The three I vape all day are peach, pinapple, nuport (mint/menthol). About as simple as you can get.

All the others start out OK but make me feel a little sick the longer I vape them.

I'm pretty picky and would highly recommend Virgin Vapor Kona Coffee Milkshake w/extra flavor and Kona Velvet Milkshake (a butter rummy, caramelly, coffee milkshake flavor. I do not order EXTRA flavor on this one like I do the Kona Coffee Milkshake). Both at 80/20, 19 mg. I've tried several of her juices and there are only two I did not like. The Kona Coffee Milkshake w/extra flavor is one of my all day vapes. She also recently developed a butter cream mint flavor which is delicious and has become my favorite evening vape.

I'm sure I've tried dozens of flavors/vendors and Annette's juice tops my list. But then again, I also like V4Ls Turtle, which everybody else seems to hate :)

It took me all of two tries before I got lucky enough to find a vendor I liked. Copper Creek uses all natural stuff in their juice and does sell sampler packs. I havent tried all of the flavors yet, but I have three or four that I bounce between for what I would conside an all day vape, and none that I truly didnt like. And they include a 3mL sample that you can request the flavor, or let them decide based on what you are ordering. All of the samples are custom mixed based on your order preferences, ie PG/VG ratio, nic level. And the best part, is that they have AMAZING customer service.

My Copper Creek top five:

House Blend (no two people describe this the same. Some get cake or carmel, and others get a nutty or coffee, still others pick up tobacco. And it changes personality as it steeps. Every transformation you taste is just as good, if not better than the last.)
Cake
Cherry
Strawberry
Mint

Let us know what you decide on and how it turns out for you. Like I said, I was VERY lucky to find a great vendor so quickly after I started vaping, and I dont intend to stray very far from them. Its THAT good.

I went with a sampler pack of Virgin Vapor juice for now! In it I picked..

Hot Buttered Rum
Vanilla Blackberry Swirl
Black Cherry Marshmallow
And I got a 1/2 ounce bottle of the Kona coffee to try; based on the RAVING reviews.. hopefully I like it! VV has some awesome reviews and I like how transparent she is with her juice. Also, she just started a Halloween sale :p
Can't wait for my stuff to arrive.

Got my Juicy Vapors order today. Which was Tigers Blood, After Dinner D'Lite, and French Toast.

Here are first impressions:

Tigers blood... REALLY GOOD! I expected to like this one the least but it's my favorite. I think this means I must like candy-sweet flavors the most.
It's like... Hawaiian Punch. 9/10 on flavor and satisfying TH. This is my new fav.

After Dinner D'Lite, this one is okay but there is just an underlying flavor I don't like. It seems to be in all flavors like this.On the inhale it is good, on the exhale I get the taste that I don't care for. Maybe it's a coffee flavor? I'm really not sure. I give this one a 6/10 on flavor with satisfying TH. I have it sitting off with the cap off to steep for a few hours and will try it again later.

French Toast. Wow, this really does smell like french toast. The taste is pretty great too, although again, there is that weird taste on the exhale that I've tasted on all bakery type vapes I've tried and that D'lite had. If it is a coffee taste I'm not sure why it's also on the french toast one. Maybe nutty is the word? For this one I give it a 7 1/2 and will also let it steep for a few hours. Satisfying TH.
One thing about this one is the juice is REALLY thick!! Almost like syrup. It took forever to get it to soak down into a cartridge. I worry about the effects on the atomizer. Probably wont get it again for that reason?

oh my gosh, my gourmet vapor order came today.

I've only tried 2 of the flavors; the other 2 smell scary right now lol.

I tried andes mint first ; pretty good ! a nice chocolately taste. I think it could use more mint.
I also tried mimosa and wow that's like inhaling an orange ! I like this one too.

however...

after trying Andes mint I went back to that atomizer and dropped mimosa on I and the resulting vape was pure delicious. it was like a dark chocolate orange. suddenly it produced clouds of vapor. omgosh its so good !! so all say I've been dripping 2 drops of Andes mint and 1 mimosa on my Atty. im trying to figure out what I would mix on their site to get my own 30ml bottle of this mix maybe with a lil more mint.

mmmm it's so good !!

Shoot them an email about what you've been mixing and how you've been doing it. I'm sure someone there can whip you up a batch...it's worth a try isn't it? I'll tell you what else is good....watermelon mixed with a little menthol. I love minty stuff and orange also...hmmm...I'm going to have to try your concoction.

I sent them an email last night :) hopefully they can help me out. i can't see the flavor ratios they use, but I can see all the individual flavors. teu use mint chocolate chip, I was thinking of changing that with something like wintergreen for a lil more mint but I've never tried that one.

you should def try it ... its even tastier today !

Ooh, I was gonna suggest Virgin Vapor! That's SO what you need to try if you're not satisfied with other flavors, ESPECIALLY if they taste weirdly chemically to you from other places. That was what happened to me. I see the stuff you ordered... Looks OUTSTANDING! But here's my very fave flavors of Annette's that I've tried... These are out of this world! BTW, I just reviewed these, so you can peek at reviews and mine are Rachel from Mesa, AZ. I tried really hard to describe how they taste.

Organic Blueberry Cheesecake E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

Organic Sweet Summer Lemonade E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

Organic Kona Coffee Milkshake E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

those 3 and the Vanilla Blackberry swirl you already ordered are my faves, for sure. The Lemonade and the Blueberry Cheesecake are going down in history of my alltime faves. YUM> Also, you mentioned you really liked cinnamon flavors, but hadn't been happy with em other places... Annette's Red Hot Cinnamon is sooooo different from any other cinnamon I've tried (and i've had em at about 15 places... My go to daily vape is Cinnamon/Menthol to make Fire & Ice, so I've tried a ton). It is seriously spicy. I don't mean hot spicy, though it is that, but sort of exotic spicy, tastes sort of how a Moroccan spice market smells. Truly amazing!

Organic Red Hot Cinnamon E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

I can't wait to try her Organic RootBeer Float.. ordered, but not arrived yet.

I'm sure you'll adore some of those. The thing about Annette's flavors, and I can't say that about ANY other vendor I've tried, is that if you love the actual food, chances are you'll love the vape flavor. She uses all organic flavorings, so its utterly ridiculous how much the liquid tastes like melted down foodstuffs. I'm vaping the Blueberry Cheesecake right now, and it is so realistic! Betting I actually drop a few lbs! rofl Nothing like picking up a yummy realistic dessert vape when you're sweettooth acts up! ;) Good luck! Hope you adore your flavors!

still loving this Andes mint mimosa gv vape. I tried the other 2 flavors last night. maiden coffee actually was pretty good if you love coffee - taste just like it. all
other coffees I've tried tasted weird. like this one ! the rum and honey ... not so much. it just taste really strange. it stinks, too. no honey taste at all either. maybe I'll try it again in a few weeks. so far that's the only real disappointing flavor sample I've gotten though.

My whole goal since starting was to find an all day vape. I really did not want to stock up on juices and have a "collection". Thus far, I found that it's very hard to stick to one.

My first problem was actually getting my taste back. I really thought I hated some stuff, and really liked others until I got my taste back. Some of my favorites really had subtle tastes I really don't like now, but didn't notice at the time. Other ones I didn't like, I found had strong tastes I couldn't taste before but now I can and like them.

Secondly, once I think I have what I like, I order something that I wouldn't think is my go to, just to try something new. Often, I don't like it but sometimes I do. This creates two problems. I am more inclined to try to find that "diamond in the ruff" so I tend to buy more "odd" flavors. Then when I really like something, my favorite flavor isn't quite what I want any more, making me more picky. It isn't that my new flavor is perfect and replaces my old, I just taste new things and want a combination.

That leads me to my last problem. I feel like I always feel like there is something perfect out there for me because with all my flavors, if I took a characteristic of one, combined it with the characteristic of another, it would be great, though I can't just automatically find it.

So, although I haven't found the right flavor I have stuck to, I have found plenty that I like well enough. I just change with my mood. Sometimes, I go from a tobacco or menthol tobacco flavor to something odd like vanilla or a coffee flavor, flavors I don't like to start with but like on occasion. Then I get more used to one and start using that for a few days, move around to something else.

I will say, I love to mix flavors. Add some fruit to tobacco when it isn't doing the trick. It may not be what you are looking for but it may hit the spot. Add some vanilla to a coffee flavor and it's great. I don't like a particular tobacco flavor alone but with a hint of coffee, it tastes much more to what I want in a tobacco flavor.

Also, keep old liquids around. You start to like more things as you go on. I can't say this is true but I do feel some flavors change over time, just sitting. I have had flavors that taste a bit "synthetic" can't really describe the taste and I often don't feel it has that same taste (which is very distinct) when I try the same thing weeks later. Some taste "syrupy" and lack that taste later, that may be more of a taste change than the fluid having a flavor change. But, I do feel like some flavors do change after time a bit, and usually it is the part that initially turned me off of that flavor. So, pull out an old one.

I actually had liquids from 11 mo ago sitting around still. they were all tobacco flavors from when I got the first ecig and thought I wanted that. turns ou I've never liked tobacco flavors - still don't ! I mixed up like, 8 sample bottles today that were old. combined it was about 18ml worth. give it to my mom, she loves it, haha.

I still have my old cinnamon, cream, cappuccino and now the rum & honey flavors I don't like very much. probably going to mix them all together later an see if it turns into anything tolerable.. 3 of those have already steeped 9 months do I don't think il wait on them any longer lol.

I know what you mean about having a big stash of juice.. I didn'tt want that either but I have so many samples now ! I think I'm getting closer though :)

I waited to make sure I liked my Andes mint and mimosa a few days out and it's still my favorite sooo gourmet vapors emailed me back today and suggested how I would custom mix this. ordered a big bottle of that today.

and as I'm typing this I just got confirmation that my virgin vapors order shipped ! woo. based on what I've liked out if all my samples I'm going to LOVE what I ordered from VV. excited !

I'm struggling with finding something that works for me that isn't menthol. I get tired of the taste taking over my mouth. I really liked Dekang USA mix when I first started, but back then it had a nice sweet hint to it. I guess I've changed because it isn't very good now.

I just tried my first taste of RY4, seems decent but the after taste is questionable.
