I didnt need as much nicotine as I thought

So I got my ego twist and have been vaping since friday. Ive smoked 2 cigarettes for nostalgic reasons but my twist hit harder and was more satisfying.

Back in '09 I was vaping on a dse 901 and I was using 32 mg juice. I loved it. Now with the twist ive got 24 mg juice and its giving me a headache. I suppose they are more efficient. Anyone notice differences like that when switching from cigalikes to better mods?

yup, I did too. I also notice i go through more juice too. My guess is the better delivery and vapor equals more juice burned and more nic.

^^ I'm in the same boat as you!!! Back when I tried it out in '09 I started with 18 mg... but I got sick of refilling polyfill into my mouth piece of my 510. I quit vaping and went back to cigarettes. Last month I got back into vaping. I tried vaping 12mg all day and it gave me the worst headache. By the end of the night I was nauseous, dizzy and grossed out (during my midterm to top it off). I realized right away, not only am I getting much more vapor per hit (more vapor=more juice=more nic), my battery was lasting SO much longer therefore, I was taking in much more nic. Now I stick with 0-6mg, switching around with juices to make sure I still get to vape all day w/o getting so sick. ^0^ Welcome back!

I've tried dropping to 18mg a couple of times and found that dropping nic was a bit bland. I guess I need to do that with some juices that have more throat hit. I've been at 24mg for three years now and it's time I start titrating downward in nic.

I'd love to be able to vape 0 nic juice and get the taste and throat hit I get from 24mg. It's probably that I still prefer tobacco flavored juices. I have some Dekang watermelon and caramel coming, along with some of my normal tobacco flavors.

If I could ever get into AVE when they are still taking orders, I'd try some Boba's Bounty.

It really depends on your delivery system. I'm down to 12mg juice, works fine for me in a carto or atomizer. When I load the same exact juice into my genesis and start blowing huge clouds, I have to slow down. I can actually feel buzzed from it -- too much nicotine, even though the juice is same.

I had ordered 18mg since the description said it was for the "medium" smoker (heavy smoker was 24mg).. and have found it's way too much nic for me.. I was a 10-cig a day smoker on my worst days, 6-7 on my more typical days. I'm kinda bummed because I ordered a huge amount of nic juice and flavors at 18mg.. I'm going to drop to 12 and try it, but will also pick up some 6, just in case the 12 is still too much.

It seems "getting it right" is the hardest part of vaping

If you are enjoying the flavor of the 18mg juice you have you may want to order more of it in a lower mg mix. By mixing the two you will be saving the flavor but lowering the nic strength. If you mix 18mg 50/50 with 12mg you will then have a 16mg juice. If you would like to go even lower just order a lower mg strength and mix it with what you have so it won't be wasted. I have experienced the same, as well. As I moved on to different battery platforms and bigger delivery devices, the juices had more flavor and hit harder. I lowered my nicotine content, but at the same time, I go through more juice.

when i had only Egos i would'nt have considered anything besides 24 or higher. When first bought a crappy Lambo i stayed firm, but when my zmax cam i finally bumped it to 18. For some reason when i got my two provaris a switched again to 12 being my favorite. High nic levels just seem to help me when the mod at hand is not capable of producing power or accuracy IMO

I keep lowering my nic just to see if I can. Started out at 18mg with 24mg for cravings. I'm down to 8mg as my regular vape now and I feel no different. For me, though, I go through more juice if I'm vaping something with less flavor or using a device with less vapor.

Flavor and vapor have become far more important than nicotine level for me.

same here, i went back and ordered 6 and 10mg. try and buy some 0mg of the same flavors you have at 18 and drop em to 9mg juice
