i have been seeing lots of positive comments on people using carto tanks, some say "its completely changed the way i vape".

Isnt the only difference that you dont have to fill it as often as a regular carto?

Flavor cant be different, nor vapor or TH? am i missing something here?

That being said, i AM getting a tank...i just dont know which one yet. (not the kind that cost $40+)

With a tank every hit is just like having a fresh filled carto. You never get that "well it's almost time to top it off again".
The reason I say it has changed the way I vape is because a carto tank is so consistant that it makes direct dripping almost a waste of time.

The other thing about a tank is that they make a carto last so much longer that they will pay for themself.
I get up to a month out of one carto instead of using a box of cartos a month.

It changed the way I vape because I started as a dripper, then because of convenience I tried a dual coil carto. I was topping the DC off almost as much as dripping so I really didn't see the point in them. (attys last a lot longer) Then I got a tank, fill it up in the morning, vape all day with no loss of vapor, taste, and no fussing with it. It is the closest thing to dripping that I have found.

Let us know what ya think when you get one.

The best part about tanks in my opinion is that it reduces the hassle of vaping. I just pop in fresh batteries, fill up my 5ml tank and I'm off to work and set for the whole day. No need to refill cartos or even carry a bottle of juice with me. (I do though carry a few spare cartomizers and pipettes just in case my carto dies mid day but it hasn't yet!)

I also like the concept of a tank ..... the less I have to fiddle with these contraptions the better......
    Please don't misunderstand .... I like the contraptions ...... I'm just lazy!

Is there a complete starter kit available for the contraption challenged? I am not concerned so much with cost as long as it works well and does not leak and lasts all day and has long battery life and fits in my pocket and fills itself ..... Ok,I'll,struggle and fill it ..... Did I mention I'm lazy?

They are designed for the lazy. You just lift the top cap off and pour in or use a syringe. Easy peasy. Punching your own cartos w/ a saddle valve punch is pretty easy too and I'm about as non "handy" as a person can be.

My suggestion is to watch some of the utube videos on filling tanks so that you know what to expect. Do try punching your own cartos. I had terrible luck w/ a hammer and nail approach but w/ the $7 saddle valve am nearly 100% on good holes/draw. Other suggestion for those who may not have tried one is that thicker juices (higher vg) will require a bit of a larger hole to saturate the poly in your carto.

So a 20-30% VG would not require me to "punch" holes?......(hopes).....LOL now I'm gonna be a machinist mate? ...

see my last post ...last sentence:2cool:
