Hi,

I ordered a kit from a Canadian site and wish I had joined here beforehand and done more research. I have had an awful time with them and won't be buying anything else. I have an eGo T Rex. I am using the clearomizer that came with it. They didn't send me nicotine juice (just flavoured 0% stuff and didn't tell me until I got my order and read that I have to call in and spend another $32.50). I ordered from another site and finally got the ejuice yesterday.

The thing always gurgles and leaks fairly often. There is no vapour. I leave it standing up all the time. I am afraid to take it anywhere or it'll spill all over everything. The battery is charged. There is enough juice in it. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. It's been a very frustrating experience. I was looking forward to getting my ecigarette for so long and to quit smoking. I'm hoping I get the hang of it.

Do you know what kind of clearo came with your kit? I just got a Protank mini and love the thing. I also use Evods and DCTs.

That's the problem. The website and the information I got with my kit gave no specifics. I don't think it's a coincidence. I refuse to deal with that vendor again. There is a shop here in Halifax, so I may have to go get help there. I'm so new to this and I don't know enough about parts, unfortunately.

Yes, need to know the clearomizer/tank that you got. Is it a dual coil or single? If you can post a picture, that would help.

The first thing I would try is taking the clearo off of the battery and blowing up through it from the bottom side. A lot of times juice can get down that center section and cause gurgling, so try blowing it out, but not overly hard. Also be careful when filling it, because with those (most likely a CE4) even if you fill it a little bit higher than it likes it will suck some down into the center tube. Give this a shot and let us know how it works out for you, maybe it is a different problem that we can help you fix.

I have heard many good things about the T Rex, you may just need new clearo/tank

Yes, if you have a good shop that you can go to, take it with you along with a pad to write notes. I kept going back because he talked jargon that just flew over my head. Also, you can search for words on here.

Jacob, I did what you recommended and some liquid came out. I may have over-filled it initially. There is still no vapour though. I read what I got with the "Deluxe kit" and it was the cartomizers, cartridges (two of each) and two clearomizers. The clearomizers hold 1.6 ml and seem to have two wicks. I told you, I have no clue. haha

There are some toppers that I have used that cannot be turned upside down.

You have to be careful not to get juice in the center tube when filling.

If the topper has a replaceable coil, it will leak if not screwed on tightly

I have used many toppers that leak when they get below 1/2 full or 2/3 full

When I go to the local shop, I will bring my kit and make sure I get the right parts. I just hate to have to spend more money now. What I got was expensive enough. I guess I just expected to get my kit and start vaping. I didn't anticipate any issues. Silly me.

If I decide to just start over with a new system, I want the best. I don't have a lot of patience.

Do I get any Vaper from any of the 4 devices u have screwed onto the battery?

I actually got vapour from the ejuice without nicotine that I got with my kit. So, it did work and it didn't leak then either. That was at first. It did start to leak and spill pretty quickly.

Please check your local shop and bring your Rex with you, I believe it uses a 510 thread so you would be able to buy a Protank 2 mini for example and use it on the Rex battery the mini is a decent topper. You can also google your Rex as there are several utube videos about it this may help in the interim.

A new system for u would be something to consider as well, take a good look around at the various mods here on ECF to maybe help you on your way. From a Vamo to an Itaste VTR or Itaste 3.0v and innokin SVD or a sigelei zmax for examples.

The ce4's are not bad and shouldn't leak very easily, but don't like being turned upside down. They are a top coil and wick system that require u fill them up to the bottom of the inside rubber piece, and as u Vape it's a good idea to tilt device and twirl before each Vape. also make sure Yhe batteries are fully charged using the charger that came with the batteries and that u do turn them on using the 5 click method. 5 clicks for ON and another 5 clicks shuts it off etc..... And of course pressing the fire button while Vapeing.
No press no Vape.

It sounds like a tanks issue for certain. The blowing out method has worked for me as well in some cases. I would recommend getting a Kanger T3S cearomizer. They are not costly and a good performer.

Sorry you're having snags, hang in there though! Good advice on clearing the clearomizer. I have mini protanks and kanger T3 that I like both use the same replacement coils and I like the 1.8 ohm ones. Be careful filling ur tank and draw slowly. Darn thing shouldn't be leaking though! Good luck and stay off the sticks!
